Got discharged from hospital after 6 ECT applications as an IP. I am so thrilled to be back in my flat by the beach. The fact that I am ready for discharge after a horror mixed episode demonstrates just how far I have come in a few weeks. Apart from medical interventions I have had to do much of the work in therapy such as mindfullness and other activities that help ground me to life in a meaningful way. Hard work but totally worth it.

I worked for at least an hour at a moment's notice to transform a friend's preliminary draft of a resume into a handcrafted statement of half-truths, exaggerations and outright lies. It felt like a 'positive thing' at the time.

Got some stuff for my husband, who's sick, went jogging, am going volunteering and to the grocery store. When depressed, forcing myself to do anything is positive.
