Positive things that I've done today #2

Cleaned my flat, washed my hair and refused marijuana I was offered. I was smoking heaps of weed before my hospitalisation and my pdoc asked me to stop so I am glad I was able to refuse free weed. It was difficult though. My brain is happy with me.

Took out the trash, showered, made dinner, drove the kids around town.

I am. teaching my daughter how to drive.

Went on meds. Took son to doctor's appt, got pedicure, abstained from coffee.

I looked at a photo of my kids for long enough that it made me smile.

I will be volunteering at an administrative office of AA today and seeing my T.

Filled in for a coworker today

I scrubbed my kitchen. Got all of those little corners that collect dust. One day soon I plan on conquering the junk room. I also put on a thick coat and gloves and ventrue out to the stream. There I raked leave off the side of the slope to uncover some beautiful ferns. Which I dug up and planted in pots. Now I am tried and cold. Totally worth it though.

Picked up meds for my mother. Yesterday gave my daughter an iPhone 6.

Taught a co-worker a new policy

I stayed around people when i wanted to isolate.

I woke up early and didn't fall back asleep.

Back on the anitipsychotics to sleep normally and put a lid on the mania.

Made it through my first day home after being IP for around three weeks. Still wobbly on my legs, crying a lot and fragile but I am glad to be home and have the support i need to go through the transition. Been using a lot of the coping skills and managed to say no to marijuana I was offered - that is a big deal as I was smoking like a chimney just before my admission but as per doctors orders I said an emphatic NO. Made me feel good about myself.

Stood up to a friend and told him I have no money to give him. He is a real freeloader that has taken advantage of me.

Joined a small group and played Wii bowling.

Met somebody from my home town.

Despite feeling very depressed and agitated I managed to drag myself out of bed and pff the couch and get a few errands done.

Got up early, put together a couple resumes/cover letters to send out, did a load of laundry. Will be going to the doctor to see about having my hormones tested as a possible contributor to my depression, going horse riding and to an AA meeting.

Me too! Combed 3 out of 4.

Took a shower & whooohooo shaved my legs -ran some errands & took a beautiful walk through some marshland by the bay. I also wore a nice skirt & took time to put some jewelry on.

Went to yoga class
