Sought help from a nurse (I am IP) instead of brooding and doing a runner from hospital.

Took the kids to school, did lots of laundry, cleaned up the girls' bedroom, booked some appointments, made some follow up calls, set up papers to send to insurance and mailed them, paid some bills.

I did a lot of positive things today. Today (which started at 10 pm last night for me) I worked a 10 hour shift and passed meds (I just got certified to pass medication on Friday and I feel very accomplished when I give out meds to the residents). Then I went home and took a nap. I made coffee and drank almost all of what I made (usually I only drink one cup when I make a whole pot). I worked another shift, 3 hours, in a different home, and passed meds there for the first time. I came home and got my son from his dad's (who lives across the street) and even vacuumed! It's been a long, productive day!

Yesterday it was calling my tdoc when I was in a swirling vortex of mood swings-it helped validate my feelings & gave me some perspective. Today I got up & read some poetry & took my vitamins. Baby steps throughout today I think.

I went to the library and found a couple books. It was nice to get out of the house for a bit.

Picked up prescription, grocery shopping, drove daughter to mall, took my mother out to eat, paid all my bills, and yesterday made my mother take a shower. She had no shower for over two weeks!
