Have been able to reduce anxiety once today by using tools from CBT. Feel really proud!
Thanks for this!

Made it through another day of work. Really struggling right now with leaving the comfort of home. Taking it one hour at a time, just keep telling myself, just get through the next hour, just get through the next hour

I took a shower today. I rarely shower unless I need to go to work or something else that is impotant. I also finally took out the trash that has been piling up.

I actually had a pretty great day today

Day 4 of total sobriety. (If I count the days I was tapering then I guess I could stretch it to 7 days)

Found a new pdoc that my insurance covers and set up an appointment with him for next Wednesday after work.

Got a ton of stuff done at the office and got complimented by my coworkers about it

Got in a really good cardio and body weight exercise session after work, got on the scale afterwards and saw that I've lost about 7 pounds this week (low calorie, high nutrition diet + no booze + lots of exercise).

Today was a good day

Shoveled my driveway... didn't go completely apeshit on my family. Watched a movie with my brothers.

Well my house is a disaster. Doing things around the house. Undertaking only a couple goals so I don't get overwhelmed. I got the food dye stains off my kitchen counters this morning and did dishes. Now I'm pulling out bigger size shirts for my son, doing laundry, and purging small/unwanted clothes. That will probably take all of today and part of tomorrow.

Worked out -- I'm down 10 pounds over the last 2 weeks, still have about 7-10 more pounds to go before I hit my target weight.

Currently doing laundry... pretty much my least favorite chore ever.

Wrote a new song, going to practice and tweak it around a bit after I'm done with laundry.

I just want to say thank you to the person who told me about dry shampoo.
I can't remember who did, but thanks.
It is amazing

I cooked for the first time in...probably six to eight months!! It was the first time I've ever cooked fish and it came out ok. Dinner in general was on the healthier side too. Fish, black beans, corn and rice.

I washed some dishes and made tacos. Was really good. Spent a lot of time with my son when he got back from his dads yesterday. He's 20, he was gone a week. It felt like a month. Idk what I'm gonna do when he moves out on his own I'm gonna miss him soooo much! His dad just tells me, you'll get used of it. Idk....
