I am hearing this voice come through the radio on my PC. It is a woman's voice and it is very sporatic and terrifying. I couldn't tell what she was saying but then she said what sounded like "you lose." So I asked out loud, "you lose?" And she RESPONDED "what?" How do I know this is not a ghost? I can't stop listening to my music. It is the only thing keeping me sane but insane also, apparently. And now she just said "Good." I mean this is really ****ing hard to believe.

OMG...it's getting worse...and the album cover to the music I am listening to is frightening to look at. Maybe it is talking to me? It's getting worse and worse.

So sorry you have to experience this. It sounds like your mind is playing tricks on you when in reality there is no voice and you are safe. Do you have any antipsychotics you can take? I find Zyprexa helps me when I experience psychotic symptoms. Please don't take the voice seriously. Do all you can to distract yourself and ignore the voice. Hang in there. You only have less than two days until you can see your pdoc and hopefully get some help with this. Hang in there!

Like a mostly skipping record of the same woman's voice over and over followed by words sometimes and once even a response. My hands are shaking as I am typing..

Has your medication changed recently? You should call your pdoc.

Thank you wander! I have nothing to take except Klonapin. I will try to relax.

Now she's saying click, it sounds like. Do you think there are sublimenal messages in this music that only I can hear?

Is your husband there? You need someone to help you to focus on reality. And it's so hard when you are alone. This may be time to get help. I know it is so scary and confusing. It's ok to focus on your music if that helps. But please try to stay strong and know that the woman is your brain being mean to you and that she isn't coming from anywhere else. Please know we are here for you. Post as much as you need to. I'll stay on here in case you need someone (and I'll be up for several more hours).

Please don't hesitate to go to the hospital tonight if this persists. I wrote in another post that I really wish I had gone to the hospital a while ago. When I started hearing voices would have been a good time.

That is unlikely. It is probably an auditory hallucination. If there were subliminal messages in the music other people would be able to hear it too. It must be a frightening experience for you. Can you get away from the music for half an hour and do something else. Call a friend or talk to your husband maybe. The more you focus on it the worse it may get.

Did you know that being on too much of a medication can cause hallucinations? This can be something neurological from the meds you are on as well as a psychiatric symptom. I landed in the regular hospital with hallucinations from lithium toxicity and I know that med toxicity was considered as a potential cause for my psychotic symptoms recently.

It's another reason the hospital is a good idea. You are on so much medication.

I can't call someone in this condition. But yes; perhaps I will turn off my music for a while. What if it doesn't stop after I stop the music. How can I be certain it is a hallucination and not something else?

If it is there and shouldn't be it is a hallucination. Try to trust yourself about that. If you need to then you need to ask your husband if he hears the same thing (or someone else but late at night I assume your husband is closest).

Keep telling yourself "it is scary but not real". Write that down and look at it as much as you need.

Ask us on here. Like I said, I'm nearly certainly going to be on here until 2-3 AM. I don't fall asleep until then. I'm happy to provide reality checks as much as you need and I'm sure so are others.

Oh my god honey. I so can relate. Paranoia and hallucinations are terrifying (though I never get audio, just visual). Remember, it's not real. There is no ghost. There is no woman talking to you. Best advice: Go to bed, if you can. I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. Hugs.

Are you on an AP? Do you have any sleepy meds? If you do, take them, go to bed and hide under the covers until you fall asleep.

Yes to the AP; the only sleepy meds are benzos. I am going to take another 1.5 and try to sleep. You, and all of you, are so sweet. Thank you!

How are you this morning? (Posting pre-emptively since it seems you've probably gotten some sleep. I pray you are sleeping soundly).

last week when i was picking up my meds at cvs i had an issue. The backround music seemed reallly loud but really really slow....so slow i almost screamed out in the middle of the store. And everybody seemed wierd and bright with big eyes. i walked by a picture of the movie "frozen" girls and they seemed alive and brigh and looking directly at me.
i went home...took an ap and slept a long while and woke up ok. i hope u can close this issue fast.....if not sort out a plan with your pdoc quick
good luck!!!!!!!!
