Yes but sometimes I don't avoid them because I feel alive and good.

Do you listen to your heart when in difficulty?

I often lead with my heart in times of difficulty, it's how I get through it.

Do you have a hard time with anxiety on top of your bipolar?

I used to, but getting me to concentrate on a book is like extra difficult.

Do you have trouble staying still?

Yes. Mania in about June (although it tried to sneak in about mid-March this year) and depression in about November.

Do you have seasonal med changes?

p.s. yes I'm running out of ideas

probably dressing up as a pirate and insisting that people call me davy jones, and if they didn't they'd walk the plank.

lol kinda cute too, as I don't often dress up (unless it's for halloween)

weirdest idea you ever came up with while manic?
Thanks for this!

I believed that I was genetically altered by aliens and I was a time traveler and went back in time and relived my life the right way, without bipolar.

What was the craziest thing you ever did while manic? (Davy Jones is a cool name)

hmmm well If i would say manic but not psychotic
it would be having sex in my car with a guy I just met at the hospital in broad daylight. we were in the salvation army parking lot and there were about 20 guys outside watching.(the salvation army was having some kind of day program for homeless young adults)
the kid I was with was beautiful but nuts and showed some psychopathic tendencies. it ended with him raging and the pulling out pics of his family and crying.
fun times

does hearing about a suicide of someone trigger you?

Have you successfully identified your trigger?

I have identified some of my triggers.

Have you ever had a "crush" on your pdoc or therapist?

(It happens.)

Yes my Psychologist at the moment and my drama therapist. When she left I was devastated.

Have you suffered stigma in the work force?

My GP has extensive knowledge of mental illness so is a perfect match for me. She is very understanding about my Bipolar and I can see her if I can't get into my pdoc (which rarely happens).

What is your favourite sound?

How long did it take for you to accept that you are bipolar?

not really.

I actually don't get headaches too much which is sort of cool

when I do, it's usually related to the heat.
was your weekend productive?
