Banana for breakfast, no lunch and a small healthy dinner most days. Since I've been in a rage (long story but I've been hurt by my pdoc deeply) I have been drinking too much though. No weight change so far. I do a bit of swimming and walking each week. Doing ok, just need to eat more and drink less but I just don't care right now.

Lost another pound! I can't believe it. I don't feel any different size wise but the scale is actually moving. I'd like to lose about 30 pounds. I think my clothes would fit better then. Ideally I'd like to get back to my original weight of 150 but I'm not sure that will be possible on this medication with my hormones all screwed up. I have an endocrinologist appt but that's not until April bc there was a long waiting list. So we will see. I'm loving the low carb lifestyle. I don't get nearly as hungry on it. I'm having a cheat meal on Jan 20 because I'm going out with friends (monthly ladies'night out lol) and they chose a pizza place. I checked the menu and there's really nothing low carb unless I get a salad, but I think we're just ordering a couple of pizzas for the table and I don't want To be the only one who orders something different. So we will see how it goes. But I haven't cheated at all so far and it's been ten days. Even through the weekend which when I was just watching calories I would always be like "ah **** it it's the weekend!". So this is good!

Well, I'm not supposed to do anything with my shoulder for 3-4 weeks apparently because I guess the x-ray results show that I have a hairline fracture. (Bone is cracked.) So I eventually have to go to PT.

This blows. No more snowboarding

Anyways, breakfast was 1 scrambled egg, a slice of toast, and one pancake. Not in the mood for lunch or dinner

I took my son to the frozen yogurt place and managed to not buy any for myself. I didn't even want it that bad!

I've been reading but not posting. I'm doing protein powder and healthier fruit and veg. added to a healthy meal once a day. My question is, my sister gave me a digital scale for Christmas so we can lose weight together. Its very nice. But it shows a different number every time I get on. So I thought I should just you know, the old, weigh myself naked every Saturday morning kinda thing. Weighing myself randomly isn't giving me a clear picture. I have only started this diet maybe two weeks ago. Tonight is church choir rehearsal and I'm going to be eating whatever the snack is. In fact, I think its Alto night which means I have to bring something which means i have to leave early tonight and get something!

hey moose,
my scale is one of those weight watcher scales. And when I take it out of the cupboard it always measures the wrong weight...I usually take it several times until I am certain that it is the correct weight.

Today was a fail.

Oatmeal for lunch/breakfast, and a black bean burger with brown rice and peas for dinner.

Fail was having banana chips later on in the evening.

No gym tonight again because I'm still sick.

Edit: I'm not on a low carb diet obviously. I don't eat meat or dairy. If I went on a low carb diet I would starve!

So this morning, I ate a bagel with butter. Going to eat one of my veggie soups for lunch: https://www.campbells.com/campbell-s...le-chili-soup/

Probably not going to have dinner because I'm never hungry for it. Might eat a mid-afternoon snack, though, as I usually do that. Protein bar. Good amount of fat + gives me protein. Don't want too many carbs because I have to watch my cholesterol.

this is called orthostatic hypotension. Drinking lots and lots of electrolyte solution should help. As a last resort, you can get salt in tablets. I am glad Abilify is helping you and I hope you will find a way to work around orthostatic hypotension without needing to quit it.

I have this scale:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001KXZ808/

It's really accurate. It matches the scale at the dr's office

In fact, I weighed myself yesterday before going to the dr's office and my weight matched theirs perfectly.

That scale is pretty cheap too

Totally left my lunch at home. Sucks. I'm going to have to see what there is at the convenience store. They sometimes have protein packs with nuts, cheese, and ham. And I know they have cheese sticks. I might also be able to get a sandwich and just eat the filling, although I really don't want to pay $5 for a sandwich I'm only going to eat a portion of. I will find something!

Was that with clothes on? both times?
(actually it reads like you were clothed....)
clothes can put a couple of pounds on usually.
when I saw my pdoc on tuesday my weight was up 20 pounds since August. That is a pound a week from drinking beer!
165.7 this am.
Have a good day all!

I found prosciutto wrapped mozzarella at the convenience store. That and a couple of chicken jerky strips is lunch today lol. I hope I last until dinner and I can make good choices instead of being so hungry I just order a burger and fries!

I've only been on this diet for two weeks and my mom said I looked like I'd lost weight. She had no idea that I'm trying to lose!

Two oranges, a veggie dog with mustard (no bun by the way), bowl of chili with seitan, two taffies. What I ate today.

Taffies were my fail.

I lost another pound! That's a total of eight pounds in two weeks. I'm almost under 200lbs. Probably another two weeks and I will be! I'm so excited. I haven't noticed any changes in the way my clothes fit yet but im hoping to soon.

I'm the opposite. My clothes are looser but the scale says I've gained!
