My sleep has been pretty good recently. Possibly due to being active during the days, or maybe I've gotten over the insomnia I've been suffering from over the last few months. Either way, it's nice to not have to take Seroquel and be foggy in the AM.

I tried to sleep but was very hypomanic and couldn't calm down.

I think I eventually passed out at 5am until about 10 or 11.

All day I've been groggy and didn't accomplish anything, but I rested my mind and body. When I lay down to bed I need to get a new routine going and use sleep hygiene, but usually it ends up with a computer open, a TV on, and probably a snack (sometimes healthy/sometimes not). Maybe better tonight.

I think it's in the air with the changing of the seasons maybe.

I slept well. I think I got my full 8 hours even! YAY! I think I dreamed too. I have some slight recollection of having done so.

Very poorly. The dog had me up at 1:00 am and I didn't get back to sleep until 8:00 and missed bible study.

Damn was awake at 4 again, can't turn my mind off now - racing (why does it say 11.15 in my forum time - it's 5.15 here - not sure how to change that?)

I got 7 hours, but I had a dream about work. I hate dreaming about work. Also, I woke up 45 minutes before my alarm was to go off. Guess I can't complain though.

Sleeping well ... well too well to be honest. Extremely exhausted at the moment. I would love to sleep only 7 - 8 hours and feel alert and ready to go but at the moment it is more like 10 - 12 hours with naps during the day on top. My T said to sleep as much as I need since I am recovering from a deep depression and the trauma of an 8 week IP stay.

7 hours. Not bad, but I had nightmares, because someone I trust, a man who is a pastor and the husband of one of my best friends, is coming to stay at my house. He invited himself by way of his wife calling me. I had no say in the matter!!!

I have never had an overnight guest here before. I am not used to having a man living with me. The only man I ever lived with, was my husband. Having been the victim of childhood molestation and adult rape, as well as bullying, my mind does not want to accept that this MAN is a friend, someone I trust. My mind is just saying A MAN? IN OUR HOUSE?? WHILE WE SLEEP??? NOOOOOooooooo!!! This cannot be. You cannot have a man stay and sleep in this house. This is dangerous, just because he is a man.

And no matter how hard I try to tell my mind that he is harmless, a friend, etc. My mind just won't listen!

I don't know what to do.

I keep having an anxiety dream before waking up. It is recurring lately, and has to do with work. It seems real, and I have trouble distinguishing it as a dream even after waking. I've been up for over an hour but I still nervous.

Well I spoke to soon on the oversleeping problem. I went to bed at 8.45pm and have been awake since 1.30am. It is 4.30am and I am wired. Will try to rest some more before a busy day. hope this is a once off. Why can't my brain get it that I need about 7 -8 hours sleep rather than too much or too little?

Slept in 2 phases, definitely got enough. I had a dream that I turned off my alarm clock, but the turn off key did not work! In other words, I slept through all my cell phone alarms. I was really tired, I guess, that must have been why. I do sleep through several of my alarms on a pretty regular basis, but there is one that is made by Timex that I have had for years that will wake me, always. It woke me when I had set it for, which was later than the other alarms had been set for. So, I got an extra hour of sleep, which I guess I must have needed very badly. I think I got at least 8 hours, maybe even a bit more! YAY!

I intentionally fell asleep on the couch. I felt good after reading here-I feel I'm not so alone now in my problems. I didn't want to disturb the feeling by moving to my bedroom upstairs. My back is not happy this morning though, from the couch.
