I always look forward to shorter days and cooler temperatures. Although my current medicator doesn't think it's really a thing, I find I am all around better with more hours dark than light, reverse SAD.

I can't wait for the cooler weather- and for all the leaves to fal off the trees.

it's beautiful

question: ever introduced anyone to this website?. did they join up?

I gave the website to someone IP a couple times. I don't know if either signed up.

Do you have a hard time when your therapist goes on vacation?

Neither really thanks to clozapine. I sleep 14-15 hours a day so I'm not up late nor am I up early.

Has your therapist ever been angry with you?

A: yes my 1st therapist was furious with me for going through staff handbags and lunch bags. Looking back, I was so inappropriate and lacked insight completely.

Q: am I the only one who has trouble coming up with questions? ☺️

Nope! This has been an ongoing game for 2 years so new questions or at least ones that haven't been used recently can be tough to find sometimes.

Have you used mobile mindfulness apps?

No. All I use is mobile mindless apps.
And with this colorless comment, I'll surrender myself into the arms of Morpheus.

Why is night dark and day clear.

Question: How often do you see your Psychiatrist in a year? I personally see mines twice a year.

Hi Miss Laura. I have to admit that I usually see my psychiatrist every 3 weeks, on the average. I guess that is at least 17 times per year. Probably more like 20. Sometimes I see him more frequently if I'm very unwell. Right now there will be 5 weeks between my last appointment and next one, because he's taking his annual summer vacation out of state. I will miss him.

My psychiatrist is an old-school type doctor. Unlike many, he gives his patients at least 20 minute sessions. He does not take my insurance, but he's so worth it to me that I see him anyway. At least I get out-of-network reimbursements. I've been seeing him for 13 years. I have a deep fondness for him. I live in the US, but I don't believe everyone in the US has the same extra caring arrangement with their psychiatrist that I have. My husband likes his psychiatrist, but his sometimes only gives 10 minute appointments. He sees his psychiatrist a lot less often than I see mine because of his situation. I think the least often I ever saw my current psychiatrist was once every 3 months, and that didn't last long before it became more frequent again. That was when I was back to work full-time and seemingly doing quite well (10 or 11 years ago). Since 8 years ago, I've been on disability.

Question: Do you have any fun activity planned for the summer? If not, what would you like to do that is possible for you to do?

Best time of the day for you.

Late afternoon

Has bipolar made you a different person than you were before diagnosis?

I'd say no.

the impact's more about how people see me and how I live my life
but I don't think it's changed me as a person.. it's not like I ever enjoyed life or that I was a positive person, that kind of thing.

are you easily offended?

I take things from the giver.
Hard to find someone with a superior mind trying to offend me.

How fast do you drive.

I rarely look out my front door. I spend all of my time in rooms at the back of the house. I obviously do open the front door to people who ring it, and do leave the garage from the front of the house when I drive somewhere. In front, beyond our small front porch, I have a rose arbor (the roses are done blooming), a small garden with some flowers, and a large tree with some little lawn. Across our little local road, I see a grassy hump with numerous trees and a children's playground. Beyond that I can see the community's tennis court, and of course other townhouses in the community. We live on a pleasant and quiet road. There are birds flying all around.

Question: What is your favorite hobby?

When my nieces are old enough to ask I'll use the movie Inside Out to help explain.

What is the last thing you purchased?
