I am new to this community and realize this isn't the place for introductions but this topic really caught my eye.
Thank you each and all for posting your accomplishments. Mine today is posting here, as I registered a week ago and have been too overwhelmed to return.
Think I will go back and do my intro post.
Thank you again.

I went to a drum circle tonight that for some reason I just didn’t want to go to. It was fun and cathartic and I met some new potential friends. It’s for another 5 weeks so there’s that.

I love this thread. I get more excited and happy for everybody else’s self care. It makes me smile.

WC - that’s wonderful about your sister!

Went to therapy, didn't cry as much as yesterday so progress? I felt really bad most of the day so when I got home I took a nice hot bath with a bath bomb it smelled great. I am currently curled up on the couch drinking a glass of peppermint tea watching New Amsterdam it's one of my favorite shows.

I watch "New Amsterdam," too!
(Isn't the lead guy cute? )

I watch "Chicago Med," as well.

I am sorry this is a difficult time.
I hope it gets easier with each passing day.

I guess I really trust my therapist then. I don't really trust a lot of people. Thank you for the hug.

I love all the medical dramas, I watch them all from Grey's Anatomy to New Amsterdam. I really love The Resident, I think that might be my favorite of all time. I watch all of the Chicago shows too.

It's getting a little easier with each therapy session, I will be glad when Thursday gets here and I have my one free day from Therapy. Thank you for your comments they really do warm my cold heart.

Yesterday I accidentaly discovered where my H hid the whiskey in his truck. Last night I was feeling quite stressed and really wanted it when I got done work but instead I chose to go for a run. It is still icy and it was almost midnight so super dark but I needed that run so badly so I decided to go anyway and it worked! And luckily I didnt fall on my a$* lol.The last few times I had tried I still got drunk after my run but this time it really dulled the craving finally.

Completed all basic hygiene.

Have beef stew simmering in the crock pot/slow cooker. It's smells great and is so comforting. Aromatherapy from the kitchen! (It's a snowy day here.)

Love to All!

I ran out of time on the computer to finish doing my self care tasks.
So I left the house with out the shower that I was going to take, did not wash face nor apply my vit c serum like usual. Did not brush my teeth. Hair was a bad hair day because it really needed to be washed.

Came home at noon and washed my face and applied vit c serum, brushed my teeth. self care stuff. Shower will come tomorrow...it has to my hair is just awful!

Managed to compete a half-hour workout despite being depressed. It temporarily lifted my mood and made me shower. I am photographing my sisters huge birthday party tonight. Photography is a major hobby of mine that I have let slide in this crazy year. It will be good to get back into it even though depressed. Better than laying on the couch on social media while half watching TV.

I went to a meet up tonight with a group of women at an event called the Red Tent through a group Celebrate Your Existence. I guess it’s like women celebrating and honoring each other. Sometimes we drum, sometime we dance and howl and sometimes just have deep heartfelt discussions. It never ceases to touch my soul. I feel very relaxed right now.
