what is one thing you feel embarrassed about constantly

Nothing, at least not constantly. I am also rather private about certain things. I don't tell everyone and their sister that I'm on disability. I'm not embarrassed about being on disability, but I know a huge percentage of people wouldn't understand.

What is the bravest thing you ever did?

Coming from a well-to-do family, ask for a job door to door, business by business,
until the owner of a gas station said yes. My first job. Pumping gas.
It was a matter of survival. I was 15 at the time.

The bravest thing I ever did was studying abroad. My family was super against it, and it was the first independent decision I could make for myself (long story). I was alone, knew no one and lived with a family who spoke no English. I had to fend for myself in terms of finding peace with the situation. In the end I loved every minute of it. I was brave enough to do that, and it snowballed into a lot of decisions to better my life.. like living alone.

Question: Do you still keep secrets even from your closest friends or family?

I don't honestly know. I suppose the fact that I am still here and functioning, somehow, after all of the negativity that has consumed my life in recent years would count. I'm too freaking stubborn to quit, which, for me, is a virtue of sorts.

What monopolizes your thoughts sometimes?

I don't have many secrets, those worth keeping anyhow. Bipolar made sure of that. I tend to be a bit of blabbermouth when manic and well...

What monopolizes your thoughts sometimes?

Right now, my education monopolizes my attention. I recently went back so whether or not I can and will succeed is on my mind.

What are you looking forward to right now?

My daughter coming home for Spring Break.

Do you have goals? Are you comfortable naming one?

My goals are short term.
Today I want to finish inflating the dinghy.
Tomorrow is very uncertain at my tender age. Hehe.

(I think it is the cutist thing, and a must for everyone)

Yes, my much younger (21 years) brother and both my nieces. And my sister but I was only 3 so that was more holding a pillow with her on it.

Do you react to extreme stress by being very cold?

Actually, just the opposite. I more often get really hot and sweat (even profusely) when very stressed or anxious. However, sometimes after sweating a lot I might feel cooler... because of the sweating.

What pleasant thing will you do this weekend to help make it a better one?

The yellow box flip flops just came out at Belk and I purchase a few pairs each season. I’m excited when they come out to see the new styles and decide which ones to get. Silly, I know but I look forward to it especially with this dreary weather.

Do you have any side effects with your medication?

I had many with lamotrigine. Life was a slow blurr.

A: A little weight gain with my med combo -- but I'm changing my diet to compensate and some light exercise (I won't commit to anything more than "light" ). I'm giving up soda in the house. It's where my belly fat comes from. I'm at the limit of my healthy weight and I don't like that.. I don't like that at all. I'm gonna shed at least 15 lbs. That's the goal.

Q: Can you list one unique trait about yourself?

I am very inquisitive

Have you changed meds a lot?

A: I've been on at least 9 different psych meds. Currently I have a cocktail of meds that at least somewhat works, trial and error sucks.

Showed up at my work to give me a cappuccino

I would be bored, especially if you count PC as social media

Do you play a game or games on your phone?

A: I play one of the most stupid games on earth. It's so addicting-- no, it's not candy crush. It's called Adventure Capitalist. You literally just tap (or click if you have the PC version.. which I do..) to "buy" businesses, the more you have of a type, the more money you make -- you have resets where you get added bonuses.. it's addicting lol.

Well, here goes one of my best:

Tired of being tilded dumb, she dyed her hair black.
Moved to the country in hopes of a better life.

One day, while doing her exercise routine,
she was met by the farmer next door.

He was leaning in the fence of his sheep pen.
With nothing much else to do.
When she was near, he said:
"Morning Miss". "Nice meeting you".
She kept walking.
"I have a riddle for you miss,"
"Yeah?, and what is that."

"If you can guess the exact number of sheeps in this here pen,
you can take home anyone of your liking."
"That's easy, 348." She inmediately replied.
Mesmerized he said, "Correct."
He opened the gate and said: "Pick your sheep miss".

She was all happy and picked the sheep she liked.
On her way out, the farmer said:
"Miss, if I can guess the natural color of your hair,
would you give me back my dog?."
