May 22, my anniversary. I love my husband so so much and my wedding day was marvelous. We've been happily married for 20 1/2 years and together for over 22.

What is the wildest thing you ever did to your physical appearance? Or if nothing major, what is the wildest thing you did/said that you're willing to share?

My wildest thing was while manic of course. I'm scared of heights. Extremely so. Yet I let someone talk me into a ride on the "skyblaster" at Niagara falls. This is basically 2 seats where they strap you in and launch you into the air with bungee cords. It was terrifying yet fun at the same time. I would never do it again though.

Do you bite your fingernails or keep them pretty?

I'll pick at them ironically enough until I can rip them off (the nail, not the bed, though I sometimes miss).

What was your first job?

My first job was miserable! I was 15 years old at the time and got a summer job cleaning rooms at a Holiday Inn. It was the type where the rooms opened to the outdoors. It was such a brutally hot and humid summer that I developed a heat rash all over my body. My skin has always been a bit sensitive. I quit before the summer was over. It just wasn't worth it. Luckily, the next summer I got a job in an office where my older sister worked. It was obviously air-conditioned and the money was much better. Plus, I worked with teens my own age. We had a good time and socialized outside of the job.

My first official job out of college was working as an English as a second language (ESL) teacher to children in Taiwan. My first career job was as a manager in the sales and marketing departments of the ESL division of a major language instruction company.

Is there a time of year when you often have a mood upswing (either just feel good or hypomania/mania)? If so, what season/months? And what percentage of time, approximately, is that pattern repeating itself?

and I jumped about the room screaming with happiness.

I went to the gym. I had not gone since for many weeks and it was good to take care of myself.

How often do you exercise?

Snickers. I lived off them for years in the rowdy days.
That and condensed milk. All I could swallow.
Those kept me alive for like five years.

Money aside, what city would you like to live in.

I like San Diego. However, that Pacific ocean is so cold.
And the gun laws in Kalifornia are terrible.

2nd place would be Kawai. But the Hawaiian Islands are the most isolated in the world.

3rd place is where I live. Cape Coral.
Too many reasons to enumerate.

Cheers.

When I was a very young kid, maybe 3 or 4 years old, I loved my big stuffed Winnie The Pooh. Unfortunately, I decided that Winnie needed to go to the bathroom. He fell into the toilet and so my mom threw him away. Apparently I cried a lot.

When I was older, I liked my Barbie dolls and their Barbie dream house. I also liked my Easy Bake Oven. Though not a toy, my favorite thing was my Misty Rose banana seat bike. I loved my bike. It was eventually stolen and I knew who stole it, but couldn't prove it because the mean boy spray painted it black and changed the seat.

What was one of the highlights of your childhood?

We had a community pool two doors down and my siblings and I would race down there as soon as it opened each day in the summer and stay until closing.

What is your favorite scent?

My mom told me my cat ran away but really they dumped her beside a barn miles from home. I was shocked when I found out because I never thought she'd risk hurting an animal.

Question: Do you have any mannerisms/sayings you've picked up from your therapist? (for example I fidget with my thumbs the way he does unless I catch myself and I hope I never do it in his office)

I hardly look at my T, probably due to shyness and hiding (well trying to) hide my mood state. Still, he hums a lot when letting through his door. I have caught myself doing that a few times since seeing him.

Are you and open book with your T, or very controlled, only letting out the things you want or need him to know?

I'd say I'm an open book in most cases.

only acception is if something's being discussed that is a really triggering topic for me

that or if I feel the information won't be of any use so don't mention it.

are you getting out of therapy what you'd hoped?

Well, I've been going to the same place for 17 years (I'm on my 2nd therapist at 13 years) so I must be happy (really I am. My therapist is great).

Do you wear makeup?

What is your go to comfort food if you have one?

Varies. Somewhere between 8 and 10 usually.

Hypothetically if there were a convention for those in this forum would you go to meet people face to face?
