Today my goals were to do laundry and walk to the pharmacy for a refill. It's 2 miles, so I got some exercise. I also vacuumed.
Tomorrow my goal is to go grocery shopping.

I've had shower on the list since Sunday. I finally got to it tonight. I kept postponing it cause it was time to wash the hair as well and that's such a chore. But man does it feel good to have it done. Still need to call the doctor, coulda shoulda just went up to the clinic area today when I was with mum, I really hate making phone calls.

I need a shower, too, Nammu. I have already started some laundry, made the bed and straightened up the bedroom, and made yummy stuffed tomatoes.

To do:

1. Clean kitchen

2. Maybe water gardens outside

3. Work on meal planning and grocery list for next week (sone changes need to be made).

4. Clean deck tables and chairs

5. Shower

1. Kitchen all cleaned except one pan I used to cook some veggies

2. Watered indoor plants. Didn't water outdoor plants.

3. Finished meal planning and grocery list for vacation week. Looks good!

4. Deck looks great and tables and chairs are all clean. We ate dinner out there tonight.

5. Took a shower and feel refreshed!

I also did a lot of laundry from start to finish. Hand washed stuff is hanging in the spare room to dry. Will put it away tomorrow. I have plenty of clean nice clothes for the vacation.

My goals for today are continuing my inner work and preparing to visit my daughter tomorrow: purchasing a gift, writing a letter, finding an outfit and coordinating jewelry, washing the car, air in the tires, etc.

Ended up not going to the evening mass. Going tomorrow morning instead. I did get a lot of walking in though, 13,000 steps.

So tomorrow my goals are:

1.Attend mass early in the morning

2.Treat myself to a couple donuts (yes that's a goal lol because going to church is hard for me so it's like a reward and also counts because it gets me out of the house for longer)

3. Vacuum. I've cleaned the rest of my apartment but I despise doing this particular task for some reason, but I am finally going to force myself to just get it done.

4. Start a new drawing

To Do on Sunday, September 22, 2019:

1. Run dishwasher after breakfast, then Econo load before we go to bed.

2. Go to the grocery store to pick up the dozen things we need from there.

3. Return book to library.

4. Start packing clothes/toiletries and laptop.

5. Organize coolers and gather foodstuffs we're taking with us, so we can quickly put in coolers on Monday morning.

6. Water outside gardens and set up inside plant self-watering. [Neighbor will water outside gardens in our absence, if needed.]

7. Send email to Sis.

8. Eat leftovers and any other perishables we're not taking with us.

9. Full shower and self-care for the trip.

You may not need to miss me, WC. I will surely check in frequently. It's a relaxing kind of vacation. We won't be running around too much. Just enjoying the place, its amenities, the bonfire, and the lake. Maybe we'll take a couple short hikes. I'll have my laptop and cell phone. The house has Wifi. I will do all of the cooking, but that saves a lot of money, plus I find it fun. We tend to always look for vacation accommodations that have kitchens, unless we're far far away (Europe/South America).

I will be busy tomorrow, but I have to do all of those things. Hubby also wants to go pick apples. I'll be beat at the end of the day. We could do some things on Monday morning. I also want to bake an angel food cake, but just a boxed cake. I might do that right after breakfast. Luckily, I remembered my evening medications at my usual time. I'll likely wake up around 6:30 am or so. I've had plenty of energy, lately. That's why my psychiatrist refused to lower my Seroquel XR. I guess I agree with him, though I'd love my dose to go down. 550 mg is more weight neutral for me than 600 mg.

Plenty of energy comes in handy in times like these!

I like apples, too! I eat at least 2 a day! I love good apples!

I'm beat! I will not be able to do everything on my list above, though I have done a lot. I'll do a little more today, after a rest, and some tomorrow. I'll ask hubby to do some of this, too.

1. I already cleaned the kitchen once, but it will need to be cleaned a second time before tomorrow. I'll ask hubby to do the second round since I'll prepare dinner (few dishes type).

2. We went to the grocery store and unloaded the refrigerator stuff. By the way, we came home to find a small pool of water in front of the fridge. Great!

3. Returned book to library.

4. Still need to pack my clothes/toiletries. Will force myself to do before bed. It should be fairly easy.

5. Organization of food stuffs is 50% done, coolers will be set up tomorrow morning.

6. Still need to deal with the gardens and indoor plants. I'll ask hubby to do the outdoor, and I will take care of the indoor self watering set up

7. Will email Sis in a while.

8. Mostly cleared out leftovers.

9. I'll do just a quick shower tonight and longer self-care when we get to destination.

We also went to the "You Pick" apple orchard and picked two big sacks of apples. Hubby and I also went to the car wash and ATM.

I accomplished some of my goals for today already. I did laundry, took out the trash/recycling and got an oil change.
I want to meditate for 5 minutes again today and do my PT stretches. I have not done either in awhile.

Jennifer how is the HSP program so far if you don't mind me inquiring?

RE: Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)
Since the topic has been raised, I'd like to give a link to an "Energy Psychiatrist" Judith Orloff, M.D.
I had subscribed to her blog, etc., many years ago. I had found her very helpful at the time. I usually recommend her whenever someone is expressing difficulties living as a HSP or as an Empath.
Judith Orloff - Thriving as a Highly Sensitive Person or Empath
I hope this helps someone.

I really kicked butt today. I did everything I mentioned on the previous page, plus watered all of the gardens, set up the indoor plant watering, and packed my clothes/toiletries. I'm making an easy dinner tonight, then I'll shower and go to bed.

Goals:

(1.) do laundry
(2.) clean bedroom floor
(3.) take out trash (mostly cardboard boxes and other recyclables)

- - -

I've already got a head start this morning on #1 and #2. Have one load of laundry in the washing machine already, and have picked up some of the stuff off my bedroom floor. Also preparing to take out the trash, but I gotta make sure my place is cleaned of all recyclables before I bring the trash to the dumpster station thing.

I'm up at my usual 6:30 am and raring to go. The coffee is brewing.

Today:

1. Go to bank

2. Load refrigerated stuff in coolers.

3. Pack car.

4. Off to vacation.

5. Unpack stuff at destination.

6. Hot tub!

So far so good. Finally acknowledging and appreciating the gifts of being a HSP went a long way. The first assignment was to ask those close to me what they saw as my strengths. The responses brought tears to my eyes and deepened relationships.

Learning to manage my “landscape” without becoming so overwhelmed has been very helpful.

Almost done with the laundry!! Just one load in the dryer (towels) right now. So count that task checked off.

Cleaning my bedroom still and making some progress. I hope to be done by the end of the day. Perhaps then I can vacuum!!

Only problem is that I’ve had loads of video and conference calls this morning, so progress came to a standstill temporarily. But otherwise, picking it back up now.

I want to make sure to exercise, eat healthier, read more and clean at least a little. I’m using a habit tracker called habitica to track these goals.
