Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't been on for awhile. My mood has been alittle out there lately. I either feel mostly okay and able to laugh and have fun or I feel sad and anxious. I think I might be shifting into depression with the weather changes. I have been trying to keep myself occupied with activities but its been hard. Even when I try to go to bed, I am feeling sad emotions for no reason and anxious over things that gotta get done the next day. I had a few anxiety attacks in the pass few days which just makes me feel stressed and tired afterwards. And then on top of everything, I have been feeling tired during the days which makes doing anything productive that much harder. So while I try to do things outside and with others, sometimes I'm just overly tired. HOwever I have been staying positive and am seeing my pdoc today.

I need to get to bed. I have been on this computer for so many hours this weekend.
I hope this is not hypomania starting.

I'm going to ask about the Duoneb - I use straight albuterol which is doing nothing (or so it seems).

Yeah - husband is definitely not getting his favorite foods for a while

Yesterday was just rough all the way around mentally and physically. I finally tried to sleep it off and woke up around 4:00 am this morning. Today feels much the same but I will work towards changing that.

I have offered to buy her some very nice thermals. She wants nothing to do with it.

OMG! Humidifiers. Cannot get enough!
I was up in the night fixing the cable/internet for mom. I thought I'd die.
I have 3 humidifiers going; however, there is not one in the "office" area.

Started wheezing; started albuterol.
It's in the 30's. I sleep with a fan in the window, blowing air into my bedroom! I love it!!!

Yes, many items are too heavy for me. My nephew has offered to help; however, he works long hours and far away. Am searching for a handy man. A good looking one.

Please give yourself a lot of credit for keeping yourself safe and for your dedication to getting well.

Took an extra half pill and slept well. Unfortunately my dreams didnt stick with me. All I can remember is people floating down a cliff, only not all of them floated, some fell. I was part of a team investigating the supernatural. I had a Dr Who outfit with multicolored leather boots. A trunk with a magical suitcase I was cleaning out and found some dice, tiny black dice with tiny skulls on them, and pearls. A bag of Doritos figured in too. I needed to restock but couldn't go just anyplace.

Oh, ya! I had forgotten about cuddleduds!
They are great and are also easy to find! Thank you for the suggestion.

It's snowing out and I am in the kitchen with 3 of 5 large windows open.

I feel for her. She is freezing cold when I am ready to pass out from the heat, This is when she has 3 layers of clothing on and a very hot rice shawl, drinking hot tea or hot coffee.

We've asked her PCare doctor to test for anything that might contribute to her being so cold. Everything looks just fine.

I cannot function in this type of heat. I cannot get anything done. I just want to sleep . I cannot think straight. It so hot! Granted, I think I am a little heat sensitive from meds, etc. BUT 78F?

I might get her some cuddleduds and leave them on her bed.
They are so soft. She just might try them! Thanks, fern!

Note: My aunt is doing quite well, all things considered. She was able to talk on the phone for a couple of minutes this morning. I won't get to see her again today. We are expecting a huge storm and it has already started. She is 90 minutes away. Her sons are troopers; they are still with her.

I've just been counting down the hours till I see my pdoc. I have been listening to music to keep me busy.

It's a great idea to distract yourself with music while waitiing. Hopefully, the time passes more quickly!

N3 had his orientation at his new job at 10 a.m. today. There's a winter storm advisory from 4 a.m. this morning and throughout all of today. We are supposed to have at least 4 inches. It took me from 9 to 9:30 to scrape the car. Easy to scrape thank goodness! N3 was 10 mins early for his 10:00 orientation at mcdonald's. I went inside and got a coffee and waited in another part of the dining room. So he works the next four days in a row- 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. I've gotta get up at half past the crack of dawn- or BEFORE!- to get him there on time. I hope it stops snowing so they can fix the roads before 5 tomorrow morning. Nevermind that Im not used to being up this early! Omg I hope N3 can get himself up. We got some brown sugar at the grocery store after his orientation and went home at 20 mph all the way- sometimes less! Oh! And I left my lights on when we parked at McDonald's! (Old car- no auto lights!) I happened to hear someone say something about a "burgundy" car's lights so I dashed out and turned them off. Just relaxing at home now. You really don't want to drive anywhere today unless you have to. Didnt see any accidents but we fishtailed a little bit.

Hahaha! She does have wild dreams!

PC is very comforting and entertaining and I appreciate the camaraderie and the support. I had a rough morning and those virtual hugs made me smile and helped me turn things around. Thank you for that.

Today is OK. My house is clean and neat. That always feels good. I posted the first of about 10 Czech Christmas cookie/sweets posts in my blog. I'll post one every (or every other) day ending Thanksgiving week. I still need to work on one or two. It might only be one. Luckily, I have photos and have tweaked the recipes of the rest.

I hope everyone in snowy zones stays safe. We might get a teeny bit of snow in my area tomorrow, but perhaps not, or nothing significant. I have to drive to my brother's/dad's house tomorrow and join my siblings for a very important family meeting regarding my dad, with his social worker. It's about Dad's aftercare. I would not want to have to drive in any significant snow. My car is not good in snow, and it frightens me. If, by chance it is significant in any way, I'll ask my husband to pick me up and I'll leave my car at my brother's/dads's house.

My husband is going to our dermatologist, later today, for him to look at a most ominous-looking mole. I hope it's nothing serious!

Yeah, that is too high for me for sure and it dries the air out when the humidity is already low.

They are so cozy. I weat them when I go skiing and I love them. My mom gets cold a lot in the winter and she wears them under her jeans all the time.

It is great your aunt is up to speaking on the phone. It sounds like she is doing as well as can be expected. That's so great. Hopefully you will be able to see her soon! Thanks for the update. You've been on my mind.

Going to see my PCP in about 45 minutes. This shortness of breath is awful and I probably need a note for work (they haven't said anything and they asked me to call in the last several days - just to be safe)

It's terrible to be short of breath like we can be with asthma exacerbations.

I know my breathing is suffering some since last night. It's very bothersome.
