Ahhhhhh yeah woman you need some serious Zzzzzz ‘s !!! What kinda soup??

I’m going to force myself to stare at that wall tonight..... hopefully I’ll bore myself to sleep ??? My body is very unhappy. We have more nasty storms coming 2-5 am , always in the damn dark guess I don’t need to see a tornado before it hits ... like if I see it coming over the ridge not a damn thing I can do about it LOL

Maybe I’ll be the wicked witch on the bike zooming around?? dogs chewed the ruby slippers anyway

I just bought split peas yesterday because I have a nice piece of leftover ham , I was actually buying red lentils to make Russian velvet soup ,but since I was there and the split peas where nearby the lentils ,magic happened , until my G /F gets tired of having soup to start dinner off, I hadn't made split peas soup in a longtime .,

Love baby carrots. I made 15 bean soup in January. Still have some in the freezer. Those bags of beans really do make too many servings for just two people for whom one cup of soup is plenty. Miser I hear your girlfriend on the soup. Nothing else like homemade soup, but it makes so much! Down in Austin there was a store of bulk foods that had the most delicious lentil soup mix, I loved it cause I could make one serving at a time.

I love my husband but he truly hates beans unless it’s my chili.

I just have to make white northern beans and corn bread 2-3 times a year. He complains about the smell. I’m like dude .........

15 bean soup I miss

Ohh he hates beans! But there are so many and they are all different. I like most and though it's now a fad I don't like edamame. But I do like soy milk and tofu, go figure!

From about 14-15 to premenopausal age I was a vegetarian. I was that irritating co-worker who brought the weridly looking dishes to the pot luck then told people who liked it that it had tofu in it! . Wasn't a religious thing with me I just stopped liking meat. Then when I was about 45 I started craving meat again. Seriously you can do anything with tofu.

My daughter is vegetarian she always had lactose issues but she found meat just made her feel horrible.

She’s fixed Tofu all kinds of ways. The only way that I actually liked was for tacos. It’s a texture issue I think. My husband ? Tofu? Lmao ! He would never.

Haha. You can freeze tofu to give it a different texture. But yeah that's what most people are turned off by, the silky texture

My personal kryptonite is Liam beans ,can't stand them ,Tofu I don't have any problem with at all ,and I would like to thank the lactose intolerant for improving my QOL , I take Lactulose that is derived from Lactose,, so all those drinking lactic cheers and thank you , my favorite bean is black bean ,chicken *& black bean burritos with 4 kinds of ginger and then go crazy fusion and add Kim Che (south Korean sauerkraut)a mic of N.Y. extra sharp chedda & colbyr sour cream ,avocado and a squeeze of fresh lime ,on top .

I've never tried tofu - but anything with a funky texture turns me off

It was the busiest night I've ever had at work so I'm going to have to come down off of my adrenaline high - but I am tired so I'm hopeful I'll get a decent nights sleep

Make it ahead of time it stays good for years Thai red curry paste add some chicken ,bok choy, baby carrots and toss into some rice noodles. If you have it a little shrimp paste ,it's quick and easy for late nite , you can just tear the nook choy with your hands, very little preparation for a realy tasty snack .if you are realy tired leave out the meat and begets and just put a spoonful of honey roasted peanut butter ,ready in minutes .
