The hardest part is my follow-up isn't until May because that is my neuros first available... It was scheduled back in the middle of January... That was the first available appointment she had for follow-up. So I'm kind of just like left to keep falling asleep in the middle of doing things until then. Yesterday, I was working on school work and literally fell asleep in front of my computer watching a video for class. I'd only been awake for 2 hrs. It was 2 pm. I shouldn't have been that tired.

The only med that could be a factor is my Depakote. I take it twice a day. I'm on the delayed release and I take a relatively small dose, I believe.

Sleep ain't happening tonight. I normally go to bed at 7pm so I can wake up at 3:30am, but it's now just past 10:30pm and I am not tired.

I think I took my second Ritalin too late in the day. I think that's why I am still awake.

Welp, at least it's technically only 9:30pm since we just switched the clocks, so it's not so bad right now... but I am worried I will sleep in

Yeah, I'm working from home tomorrow, but I have a meeting at 7am.

Besides that, everything is becoming virtual (i.e., video conferencing through Google Hangouts) because of coronavirus. I am sure that the office will be shutdown soon anyways. The California and Washington offices are shutdown, and there are quite a few coronavirus cases in MA already, so people in MA aren't going in to begin with.

Ack 7 am.... I think companies are wise if there business allows for people to work from home to do so, My daughter is a copy writer and the crud hit her office a couple months ago and my daughter catch crap so easy , She ducked out and worked from home for about a week until people stopped bring there sick butts into the office.. But reality is many people cant afford to miss a days pay and goes to work...

Hope your able to get some sleep tonight

Despite taking two ambien I was wide awake at 4:30am but then slept for 6 hours. Again with the making of illegal vitimensupliments, looked like water in a big heat shaped capsule. Was so special it was illegal. .

If I didn't insist on staying in bed we could have some great conversations at 2-4 in the mornings.

Locally we have an insomnia net on the radio ,sometimes we have 30 people checking in ,and that doesn't include all the people listening on scanners or public service receivers who can't talk back. And we talk about everything and anything you can thing of. .

This might be a club but how do we help and support each other to stop the anxiety causing insomnia? I could use some people to talk to about this. I don't need a star, just some ideas.

The last two nights I have not slept a long time (about 5 hours) but it's been that glorious, deep sleep

I am averaging ~3 hours within a 24 hour period, sometimes less, mostly before midnight. Once in a while, the sleep I get is good enough to accomplish a few things. I mostly need my spirits to be up to get anything done, so emotions seem to be more important than physical energy. Do any of you feel that way?

This thread allows us a place to literally complain about our inabilty to sleep whether it be a rare thing or something weekly or even daily.

We just support each other, Just knowing your not the only one is a comfort to most people.

We also share ideas on how to get better sleep whether it be meds or coping skills..

Welcome I hope you find this a comfortable place to talk about lack of sleep

Does anybody listen to Coast to Coast overnight? I used to, years ago. I'd come home from work tired/wired and lie there and listen to stories about Big Foot, the Deep State, and all the wacky callers.

@BethRags: I listen to that radio station from time to time. It is hilarious, but some of it is interesting. The fanciful stories based on a twisted, or mostly incomplete understanding of reality. There so called news is also made up. Fun stuff.

Hi, @BethRags, I used to be a big fan. I even recorded many of the shows. I seldom listen anymore. Actually I have quite a number of books that authors talked about on coast to coast, mostly science books, & some personal experience type books. Also I became interested in anthropology because of that show. Why do I seldom listen to it now? I think it's a combination of reasons. Anyway, I really did enjoy it for a while.

Yeah...I haven't listened to the show for years. For one thing, George Noory is annoying. I used to listen way back when Art Bell was the regular host. Besides, I'm usually asleep (or try to be) at that time.
