On a scale of 1-10, how stressful is your life right now? Have your current stress levels triggered an episode?

Me: I'd say my stress levels are at a solid 7. I have A LOT of work to do for my job in a short period of time, but there have been points in my (short) career where things have been worse, hence I am only at a 7 right now and not a 10, for example.

I am unsure if I am in a mood episode or just having crappy sleep, but sometimes too much stress triggers mania. I haven't had a mixed episode in ages.

I'm not too stressed right now. Just wish I could sleep more. I guess a 2.

Yesterday, an 8--PTSD was triggered all day. Today, so far, a 2ish or so.

bluebicyle, I always appreciate your new and interesting posts. You're clearly an "idea person".

At this moment (recent week), I guess a 4 or 5. Things have settled down. In about a week and a half, that number may go up a bit when I start my French class. Hopefully nothing unexpectedly stressful will happen. There will be some stressful obligations I know, but I can often be good about living in the present and putting other stuff out of my mind.

that is the question I am asking myself right now . . . truth is quite stressful . . . and truth is I am not completely sure . . . I just suck at all this I quess . . .

I keep feeling like the other shoe is about to fall . . . but no one thing is a trigger . . . I just feel afraid all the time . . . of everything . . .

I'd say 10. Typically things aren't anywhere near that stressful but I have no money or food so I have to rely on free meals in the community, which I'm very thankful for but it always gets my social anxiety going crazy. Another thing is I'm in the process of moving which is a whole long ordeal. One of my cats is sick and I have to say goodbye to her tomorrow, she is my best friend so I'm heartbroken about that. I have a tooth infection which is quite painful (currently on antibiotics for) my insurance denied a request for root canals so I have no other choice than to have those two teeth extracted. I'm really not trying to complain, it's just there's a lot going on right now :/

About a 7+. I am in hypomania again for past 4-5 days--trying to do too much and all of a sudden it is rocket hypomania time into doing even more. It feels good but I was rocketing and crashing at the same time this morning, which I really don't like. Didn't sleep well this morning with hypomania energy coupled with tired and really need to sleep. Sat up in bed to try to rest.

I haven't cleaned up my wreckage from December when I was liked this and left messes. Supposed to get a telephone call from my "mental health specialist" tomorrow. I am considered to be living in a "rural" area (I live in a town of 10,000 people), so I get telephone care, unless I get a new therapist. The last one in the mental health department told me she couldn't help me and was discouraging about it. I haven't found a new one. I am sensitive to psych meds and haven't found one to help out or the benefits outweighed the negative side effects.

Thanks. I forgot. When I'm mixed or crashing, self-hugs, massaging my palms with my thumbs, and kindly talking to myself while slow breathing helps me ease up on myself when I remember to do so. I have been trying to practice them daily, even when I don't need to do so, so it would be easier to remember when I do. But I was swept out of my routine today by my energetic racing mind and forgot them.

I can't keep up with the responsibilities that used to come easier for me. Looking into FMLA or short-term disability as soon as I qualify in a few months. Some days, I feel like I'm going to completely lose it.

I'm going to say since this week began a 10....

I'm really not well physically. I was sent to the local hospital on Wed. I had tests done and a CT scan. My blood pressure is severely high. No-one meaning GP's would listen to me and take my concerns seriously and this in turn has lead to being taken to hospital as my blood pressure at that time had reached 193/123 which is massively in the red zone. The CT scan shows a small lesion on my brain. I need an MRI scan on my head, possible lumbar puncture and I may need to see a Neurologist. I might have pressure on the brain but it's all guesses at the moment.

I'm worried about what this could possibly mean, how will I cope, why wasn't i taken seriously and fobbed off by 2 GP's who didn't examine me as a "muscle spasms and or inflammation". I'm really worried as a friend said it could be a tumour on the brain. I know I'm being dramatic but I really am never unwell and this has thrown me
