Last night sucked.

I had some VERY weird dreams....

Those dreams sound very unpleasant. I hope you get some decent, restful sleep tonight with pleasant dreams.

Were you taking a bath in the water trough? I saw the first season but nothing after that. But it was a good show.

Ambien is not working. I got 13 hours of sleep that first night and then nothing. I’ve previously tried Trazadone and Doxepin to no avail. She mentioned Seroquel but I wanted weight neutral. I think I’ll call her in the morning and say bring on the Seroquel.

I hope everybody gets a good night’s sleep.

I am no fan of Seroquel, that's for sure. The one good thing about using it for sleep, however, is that you have to take only a microdose.

She didn’t say because I wouldn’t consider it. I’ll consider it now. I’ve awakened a few mornings now with the back door unlocked and the patio furniture moved. Ambien must be working at least somewhat but I sure don’t like that. I’ll ask for straight Seroquel.

I keep waking up. It's now 4 am. I was awake for a while starting at midnight, too. I am not sure if it's more my hypomania (I don't think I am full blown manic right now) or my injured ankle. Or a combo. As my ankle is now, I think I should perhaps go to an urgent care center later today for an xray. It can't be in the morning, because we have carpet installers coming. Normally I would ask my sister as a backup (so Hubby could stay home), but her neck is in a brace. She is avoiding driving. I don't want her to have to go through such a thing. I will ask Hubby to take me in the afternoon or evening. I don't know how long it will take the installers.

I took 2 of my melatonin and then fell asleep after reading a few pages in a book. My mom barged in my room at 11 to get a charger. I don’t understand why she’s so angry all the time. Then I woke up at 3 on my stomach. So I feel kinda blah right now.

I finished 3 books last night. One entertaining but light. One about trump and the last a long novel about a weatherman. I have my pills on the nightstand and take them just before I go to sleep, but last night I got very nauseous right after I lay down so my night awake was caused by no meds. I couldn’t sleep so I finished all my half read books.

I got about 5 hours of very deep sleep. So that’s better then nothing. I fell asleep at 10:15 and I woke up at 3:15. I plan on getting up in another hour or so. I don’t feel like sleeping anymore.

What's the name of the book about the Weatherman?

The weatherman. takes place inn Minnesota. My sister found it at a garage sale. Pretty interesting. It’s by Steve Thayer. I think it was a 1990’s book. It’s about several people and how their lives intertwined and a killer who is killing one person per season at the height of a weather event. The characters are pretty rounded out and have depth.

Ohhh...haha, I thought it was about the radical political group under the umbrella of the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society).

It's 3 am and I am hungry, but I don't wish to go downstairs because of my foot/ankle. Normally I might even be motivated to make something, but I keep thinking about my foot discomfort. The stairs have become my enemy!

like everyone else here, i'm desperate for what meds work for sleep and how you plow through the next day; for me, i need to be in bed this morning to catch up on lost sleep. i used to take seroquel and do take some klonopin during the day/and as part of my 3-med sleep regimen but i would like to know what mg. of seroquel you take at night and what mg. of klonopin you take during the day. i think i need a new med change as my anxiety is over the top most days due to pandemic. would appreciate any and all replies and please include the mg/doseage of each med you list....and when you're not able to sleep, what do you do to get some sleep? i'm really drugged from taking extra meds last nite but desperate for answers/suggestions and is there any hope for decent sleep? i do all the right things in preparation for bedtime, too long to list...

Seroquel is odd in that small doses are used for sleep. For example, either 25mg. or as low as 12.5mg are the doses for sleep.

I actually slept through the night about 8 hours without melatonin. I was reading with the flashlight of my phone for an hour. I think it helped.

beth: agree: low doses of seroquel worked for me for a long time with progesterone...then it seemed to poop out. i document changes in my meds for a weeks time; now using 1/2 of .05mg. klonopin, 15mg. temezepam (another bento used for sleep) and progesterone...seemed to work great for 10 days...and it seems fri. nites when we eat italian food and i have 1 glass of wine, i don't sleep...so it may be the food rather than the meds. yes, i'm more anxious due to virus, etc. IF ANY OF YOU have some magical answers/suggestions, i'm eager to hear. tonite i'll return to the 25mg. seroquel and 7.5 temezepam.

Yes, the Seroquel does poop out. I use ZzzQuil, alternate it with Seroquel.
