I tried hard to have a nice day, getting out twice to enjoy the sunshine but i've still been wrestling with boredom. I keep telling myself that everything is alright and to count my blessings but i still feel really uncomfortable. I guess i get low-grade anxiety along with my mild depression.

Hugs to all who struggle!

God visited me and cheered me up. Holiday baking makes me cheery. He put the love of the lord in my heart and lifted me up. Now I am baking. Yay !

My husband and I went to his best friend's house for dinner. We got there at 4 pm and only just got home at 11 pm, so I only just took my evening medications. That means I'll possibly be awake as late as 3 am. We'll see.

It was a lovely visit. I have always liked his best friend's wife, as well. She's quite sweet and a very upbeat kind of lady. We spent a lot of the time talking about the US healthcare systems compared to the Czech. His best friend is also Czech living in New Jersey. We also reminisced about our early romances with our respective spouses. After the dinner, his friend surprised him with a lovely cake to celebrate his birthday, which I mentioned earlier is tomorrow. They insisted we bring the rest home. So, now we have half of a chocolate mouse berry cake, a whole entire untouched pear frangipane, 3/4 of a destroyed-looking second pear frangipane, and a raspberry almond coffee cake that I had purchased for breakfasts. It's so much that I've decided to freeze two of them. That, or I'll die of excess sugar consumption.

Hubby's best friend visits the city in Czech Republic where we'll be living, several times per year, so we will see him often. In fact, that friend may even stay with us a lot. I don't mind. That friend is like a brother to him.

I accidentally took a second Geodon in my sleep. No idea why. I think I thought it was 1:30 instead of 8:30. I just now realized. So I’ve had 160 milligrams in about 4.5 hours. I’m sure I’ll be fine.

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine, other than possibly getting a little drowsier than usual. There was a period when I took 160 mgs of Geodon, all at night (same swallowing). I took it like that for at least a year. Eventually my psychiatrist pushed me to split it up into 80 mg morning and 80 mg night-time because he thought it would be more effective at curbing my mania. I think splitting it up did help a bit, for a while. I no longer take that medication, though. Five and a half years into taking it, it eventually gave me a brutal case of akathisia. Also, though it did help a bit with my mania, the 160 mg stopped being enough, for me. I had to have a second antipsychotic added.

I remember reading a post from someone who took as much as 240 mg Geodon per day, though not all in the same dose. I found that odd since most websites and doctor recommendations regard 160 mg per day the usual cap for Geodon.

I got up at 10PM and I was really light headed and my heart was racing. And I had to sit down on the recliner. But I’m ok now. I just didn’t take my morning dose.

I need to get an exam and an ultrasound next month so I can hopefully get a hysterectomy done next year. My doctor is the wife of my Pdoc. So it’s kinda awkward. So far I am not aware they know I see each other. I know hippa is a thing but I’m wondering if they will need to talk to each other at all like if I need a letter for my insurance... I can just imagine her saying “I’m doing surgery on one of your clients.” Lol.

I'm trying to do laundry but the people that are using the washing machines haven't come back to change them over to the dryers. Highly annoying. They're just sitting there blinking "Open Lid".... I should know better than to try to do laundry on the weekend!

They finally came back. Now I have to wait about an hour for the dryers to finish then I can put my stuff in. (Washers only take 1/2 an hour.)

If I've had to wait for someone to pull their laundry out of the only available machine and they don't do so for over half an hour, I pull their clothes out of the washer and put them in a pile on the folding table. Not clearing laundry out is so rude.

I've been wanting/needing more sleep lately, than in recent months. Also, it's only 3:12 pm and I'm so tired. In a way I wish I could take a nap, but even if I'd manage (which I rarely can) I always seem to wake up feeling uncomfortably disoriented, rather than refreshed. I guess the shorter days are getting to me a bit, and a slight crash and lull between the stressful days of preparation for my house sale, and the eventual completion of it, and move abroad.

Hubby and I stopped by a mall today. Outside were some trees starting to blossom, as if it was spring. This is so wrong. It's not a welcome sight in late November! It represents dysfunction.

Despite being my husband's birthday today, it's been relatively quiet and low-key. He did get his ski bindings put on. He's happy about that. I don't know what to make for dinner tonight. I suppose I should make something really nice, but at the moment I feel like sleeping until tomorrow morning.

Oh, it's hard when fatigue hits in the late afternoon. Up until my mid-50's I never took naps. I'd feel the way you've described feeling after a nap. Now I can't function through the day without taking a nap and I do feel refreshed afterward. Guess I'm getting old, haha.

The trees...I've noticed that type of oddity here for the past several years. It's disturbing.

A happy birthday to your husband!

I hope you find a second wind.

I know, right? All you have to do is set your phone timer for 30 or 60 minutes (depending on if its the washer or dryer) and come BACK when it goes off. Simple. There is no folding table in our laundry room, or I might think about that. Luckily there are 3 dryers and three washers so I shouldn't have any problem getting a dryer.

That's a good question. How would they know who you were unless they started talking over dinner, "I have this patient named Mountaindewed...."

Mum wanted to order out today. She likes 🍔 but I don’t so I had 🐠. Yum. Cod, sweet potato fries and broccoli 🥦. I definitely had the better meal. I had to go to two different places to get it. Very long lines I guess everyone is eating Sunday lunch at 2 now? Of course nobody can eat inside so that makes the lines longer too. Watching Batman vs Superman. What a dark show.

Did you see Joker? I saw it when it was in theaters I hated it! It was over-the-top violent and made it seems like all mentally ill people are crazy psychopaths!.
