I love egg hunts. I miss them from when my kids were little. I hope you have a super Easter, Md!

How wonderful of you to adopt Maybelle. She and Miss M. will be happy to have each other.

It could have been better. I wish whatever it is that I have going on would get figured out. My first doctors appointment is tommrow. So I'll see if the high hematricrit went up at all. I have a feeling it did. Then I have another one with my primary on Tuesday and therapy. Hopefully I get stuff figured out. I hate those commercials where they are like "my doctor told me I was ok. But I knew I was dying." Because I think I may just be super anxious and I plan on telling my primary that but I don't want him to downplay my symptoms either in case there is something wrong. Its just a weird position to be in right now.

Happy Easter!

I had the best surprise yesterday - my sister and brother-in-law stopped by for a visit. It was a complete surprise and I was over the moon! Oh, my gosh, my sister and I were holding onto each other and crying. We hadn't seen each other in 3 years. The 3 of us had a wonderful conversation for a few hours. My sister had a mild stroke last summer and I really noticed in person how she's changed. She's such a bright, intelligent person. I'm working through grief, it's hard. She has trouble finding words and her short-term memory is messed up. But she looked lovely, and it's always great to see my BIL. They've been married for 54 years.

The day is just gorgeous today. Sunny and bright, but a pleasant breeze. And I have new curtains coming today! I had soft grey ones, a peaceful color, but they no longer match the colors I'm doing in my bedroom. So the new curtains will be an ivory color.

I took 25mg of Seroquel at 11 last night and ended up staying awake until 3 a.m. I just had no feeling to go to bed. Now I feel all achy and tired. I'm lost on what to do about my sleep anymore.

**~*May you see a magical Easter bunny hopping along today!~**~

Well Easter 🐣 is all done for the year. Got up this morning showered and made the green bean casserole. Wrapped it up in blankets to keep warm. Was a good uneventful dinner and then an egg hunt for the kids. They really enjoyed that. My daughter and her family couldn’t make it so there was just 4 kids.

Worried about mum though. She didn’t get up until just before we left and on coming back she immediately put her Pjs back on and is talking about going to bed. She seems to be having more and more bad days. She’s just so tired.

Oh, Beth I’m sorry you didn’t sleep either. But I’m overjoyed you got a visit with your sister, how nice. We should switch curtains. The ones in the bedroom are ivory lace but don’t go to well with the bohemian comforter my daughter bought me. Grey would work nicely tho. Then I’d have to paint the whole room though, maybe a light grey?

Beth sorry you didn't sleep well again.

I've done nothing today except talk with N 3 on the phone and make the onion, zucchini and summer squash dish again. It's cooking right now. It's very easy to make but it's a waiting game. You can't rush it! I've sauted the onion and now have put the zucchini and squash in with some water. It smells delicious!

All I've had today is a bagel with cream cheese and a bag of chips. It will be nice to eat hot food.

I'm kind of bummed that I didn't get to do anything for Easter. I went to Starbucks and met a friend but that isn't what I'm craving in terms of social interaction. I want someone to come over and eat with me.

You have been clearly struggling a great deal, whatever2013. Please do reach out to your doctor for more help. You seem to me among the people I've met here that can shine a most brilliant light. A person I imagine dancing a lovely figurative dance for many to enjoy. Yes, depression can ground that brilliancy, but it can/does return.

My husband, sister, and I had a nice visit with Dad. I was quite pleased to see Dad's physical and cognitive capabilities notably improved. I imagine his mood and eyesight improvement also played parts. What a difference such things can make. Truly!

My poor brother has a preliminary diagnosis of pancreatitis. They still need to run more tests, though. He said he expects to be in the hospital for at least another few days. He sort of sounded a little scared. My sister senses that, too. He acted the same a while back when he was hospitalized with heart issues. Of course it must be scary, but it still seems strange from a man who always acted tougher than life. How an illness weakens the spirit! Truth is, he's very lonely in life. That makes the fear worse, I'm sure. Loneliness itself can be a major risk factor for illness. I told him that Hubby and I would visit him in the hospital tomorrow. I'll try to reassure him the best I can. Frankly, I think my brother could greatly benefit from a therapist. Someone to help guide him beyond the limited existence he's set himself up into.

Thanks for the kind words @Soupe du jour, especially while you are on holiday and dealing with so much already. Also thanks to @BethRags and @wildflowerchild25 for the concern. I'll be busy tomorrow dealing with electricians here to do an upgrade so i emailed in to my doctor asking for some Wellbutrin as this is what we used last time i was in this state in 2018. It worked instantly, so if he's agreeable i shouldn't have to suffer much longer. The only thing that's different is that i'm on only 25% of the benzos i was then but hopefully that won't impact the effectiveness.

Waking up with a sore back is lousy.

Ooh, ivory lace sounds lovely. I'm so mad, all week-end FedEx told me that my curtains would arrive "by the end of the day" today, but now they're telling me that there's no set date yet as to when they'll arrive. *sigh* I hope they come tomorrow.

Welbutrin helps so many people. I'm relieved to know that you've emailed your doctor.

I read an article today about a new AP that is used for bipolar disorder depression. It's called "caplyta" and can be used alone or as an adjunct. Who knows. I don't know how it's any different than Seroquel and possibly a few others.

Almost 9 p.m. and I am hoping to be in bed by 11. The trick is not only to be in bed, but to fall asleep. I'm thinking I'll try ZzzQuil tonight. I'll take it just after I take Sidney's glucose reading at 10:30. I have to be sure her number isn't too low, because if it is I'll need to retest her, so don't want to be too sleepy. Ha...as if ZzzQuil will actually make me "too" sleepy

I hope I'm in bed by 11 and soon asleep, because I have that darn Sunday evening creepy-crawly feeling. Worry or anxiety or depression, I don't know. But I hate it.

MW you need to eat more with geodon or it doesn't work like 350 calories.

Things arent going too good once again. I have this pain in the middle of my stomach that came on last night along with the nausea I've had for awhile. I figured it would go away in the morning but its still there. Then I have all my normal anxiety and stuff. I see my blood doctor in a couple hours.

I don't have any cogentin, but the feeling I described isn't physical. It's that "dreary" Sunday afternoon-evening feeling. Kinda sad, kinda anxious.

Went to aqua fitness. There’s bug a boos in the system. It’s a really simple system you sign up at 7am for the next week, if your late you go to the second pool. If your on the wait list it depends. Like today I forgot to sign up so next week I’m number 12 on the wait list and will just go straight to the second pool. Friday I’m number 4 so it depends. Thankfully the reg fitness class is much smaller and we don’t have problems with people on wait lists. That said, it’s a tough class. Much tougher than I thought. But I’ll keep going cause it will increase my flexibility! Still it’s a friendly place, none judgmental and pretty much all baby boomers.

I know what you mean about the creepy crawly feeling. I hadn't thought of describing it that way, good description. I feel similar a lot especially in the evenings and mornings and I do not like it at all...

I slept ok eventually last night (took ages to drop off)

I was in the chat room here yesterday for about an hour. I shared some of my personal (trauma) history. Yikes! (only to one person). Afterwards I felt more anxious and kind of drained... a bit like after a therapy session sometimes.

We had a good supper last night (Easter Sunday). Rack of lamb and trifle
