Will wonders never cease? Every time I go somewhere I ask mum if she needs anything. Usually I have to be watching out for stuff she needs. Like 2 years ago her slippers had a hole in them, so I bought her new ones. But today she spoke up and said she needed new slippers. So I bought two home for her. They didn’t have any ankle high ones but I’ll keep my eye out. Soon fall stuff should be hitting the stores. Mostly they had slide ones and she likes a full slipper.

I’m doing ok. Tired still waking all hours tonight is my last night at 2.5, then nothing. If I’m not sleeping by the time I see pdoc I’m going to ask to go back on the ambien at 10 mg. That’s less than half of what I was taking but the Bella something doesn’t sound much better.

I’m wondering how long the tests last. We have the free government tests that came a months ago. We’ve never had a reason to test. ( knock on wood) I’m out and about but mum rarely goes anywhere. I’ve never had any symptoms.

Today was definitely an improvement. It's possible that the Luvox is kicking in. Either that, or the extra Lamictal. Of course, it's not wise to take 2 new meds/med increases at once, but this situation fell into the category of "desperate."

I am wondering if it's the Luvox helping, though, because all day I've felt nauseated which, unfortunately, is the reason I switched from Zoloft to Luvox.

I don't know. I will call the med dude clinic on Monday and see if I can get in this week instead of next week. Something needs to be done, being in the place I was in was dangerous, plain and simple. As kind as he is, I do wish med dude was more experienced. It's clear that he's new at the work he does. He is enthusiastic, though.

Congratulations, @Aurelius710 on getting that job offer! I can imagine that it will beneficial in other ways even beyond the $$ aspect.

@~Christina, that sucks how long the medical clearance stuff might take. I hope Richard does have some advice on this. As for my house buying, I won't say it's done until it's done. Next Wednesday we're supposed to sign a contract and pay a deposit, but still need to get another more formal inspector to go look at it for us before we fully close the deal. At least the place is off the market now because of us, so it's unlikely anyone will grab it out from under us.

I messed up (accidentally) this morning and took my full evening medications instead of my morning ones. The room is spinning and it's hard to type. It'll still worsen, I think, but then after a few hours I may feel better. I did decide to take my morning meds, but a little after. None of them interact negatively with the evening ones. Tonight I will likely take my evening meds again, but remove a portion of the Seroquel. Just some, because removing all would cause me insomnia.

It's been a few hours since I accidentally took my evening meds. I'm feeling OK now with only very mild sedation. Crazy that 700 mg Seroquel doesn't knock me down in the daytime.

A few days back, I went through my closet and gathered even more clothes to donate. Ones that haven't fit for a while. As they sat in a corner, I gradually changed my mind about a few. Typical. Sure wish I could fit in them someday! It's definitely possible, but I think it would require a 20 to 25 lb (9 to 10 kg) loss. I wouldn't ask my current pdoc to lower any med (i.e. Seroquel), because of the stress of the upcoming move. Plus, he likely wouldn't right now, anyway. But maybe if I'm doing OK in a few months, a new pdoc would. Sadly, I'll need to find a new one. Where we might live is much closer to Prague than the city I'm in now. I'm not at all emotionally attached to my current pdoc and tdoc, so that's good.

I changed my avatar. Time for a few changes in my life across the board. I thought a tropical scene might be nice. I changed my profile pic to display a picture of some sunflowers that I took but the pics are displaying sideways. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I rested yesterday again but went out around 7 for some hot, glazed donuts from Krispy Kreme (melts in your mouth and had a coupon for free donuts) and a delicious beef bbq sandwich plus my favorite sweet tea with raspberry added. The fellow accidentally gave me a large when I asked for a Route 44 so he gave me both. Sweet.

M has been having some serious medical episodes. They are testing everything and she’s having to wear a heart monitor for a week. I’ve continued praying about it and left it in God’s hands but I must admit I am concerned and a bit anxious. I sincerely hope she is alright.

Hugs to all that need them.

@HALLIEBETH87, I'm so sorry for your losses. That is incredibly sad and way too much to have to process at once.

@*Beth*, I'm glad you saw an improvement yesterday. Whether it was a medication's effect or your mood state shifting doesn't matter. We all want you safe.

@soupe de jour; I hate that when I mess up my morning- evening meds. It knocks me up for a while, and can take a few days to recover from. Glad your not too affected and feeling ok.

Ooohhhh my left arm is driving me up the wall. That’s the arm I got the shingles shot in. It’s still swollen, warm, red and soo itchy. Day 4 now! Still it’s oodles better than getting shingles again. I had shingles in my 30’s and thought that meant I couldn’t get it again. Wrong you can get shingles multiple times. But that’s why I got the shot so late, I thought wrongly that I was protected.

I think I'm having an allergic reaction to my Invega shot I'm itchy with a rash all over especially on the arm I got the injection. Thought it was poison ivy at first since it's summer and I'm usually covered head to toe in summer anyways, but this popped up within hours of my last injection and it's worst on the arm I got the injection and I've been staying out of the woods lately. 10 days until I meet my new pdoc. And invega was actually working pretty well for psychosis. Not so much depression/insomnia. I really wish I could go back on lithium, that was my golden med for everything but psychosis. Risperdal was my med for psychosis but I developed a bad reaction from it that my doc IP had to report to the FDA after being on it for a year (did you know the difference between Risperdal and Invega is one oxygen atom and about $600?)

I have to go back to my dad's tomorrow to pick up meds (if they even sent over refills, I never got a call back confirming they would or a text that I usually get when my old NP at the same place sends over rxs) and I'm supposed to meet an ACT peer support person tomorrow afternoon. I don't want to come back any time soon. I prefer my dad's somewhat exciting yet tiring chaos to my mom's chaos which is just exhausting.

I am so excited for you, Soupe (regarding the house)! Bleck to taking meds at the wrong time.

Thank you for your support. I have never had such an acute mixed state. This one was "textbook" - no doubts about it. I have never been so close to sui...I look back on Thursday and Friday with a shiver.

Your new avatar is refreshing. I don't know how to fix the sideways problem. I've had some weird experiences with avatars, but that hasn't been one of them.

Prayers for your mom. I hope things turn out to be okay.

Gosh, 4 days seems excessive. Nammu, if the side-effect goes into 5 days I hope you'll contact your medical person.
