I’m at the psych emergency. Talked with a social worker which went very well. I told them I want a medication change. They noticed that my akathisia has gotten really bad since starting Caplyta. Everybody’s been extremely nice. Waiting to see what the doctor says.

Thanks for the update. I've been worried about you all evening. I'm so glad you got to the ER. I know that's really hard to do. But you'll get the help you need and won't be tormented anymore soon.
Hope the doctor is nice too!

Just waiting for them to find me a room but I got the couch you can fully recline on here and I did take a nap today after not sleeping well last night.

I'm so sorry to hear you're struggling so much but glad to hear you are getting help. Hopefully they can get you on some meds that help you and that things get better for you soon. ((((HUGS))))

I just got out of the psych ward two hours ago. They took me off Caplyta and put me on Cogentin and Loxapine. The cogentin has given me a dry mouth really bad. I’m so glad I’m home!

This dry mouth is driving me batty! I need to go to both pharmacies Monday. I slept until 5:30 this afternoon! I didn’t sleep that well inpatient because they wouldn’t let me have my cpap for the first few days and then when they did give it to me the power to my room was turned off! They fixed that though but without my cpap I keep waking up. I don’t have any Loxapine because they didn’t send me home with any and I called my regular Pdoc who should write me a script for it Monday. I have to call and find out my appointment day and time because it wasn’t on my discharge paperwork.
