Seeing Dr tomorrow. Belly ache. Feel faint and nauseated. Liver people said these aren’t liver symptoms.

My dr wants to see me tomorrow. I’m thinking it’s my gallbladder acting up. I ate a bunch of shrimp only to find out it’s high in fat!!

Its high in cholesterol. How high in fat it is depends on how its cooked and served.

My mother popped a piece of deep fried breaded shrimp from a chinese buffet into my mouth before i could stop her, and i swear im still burping it up! It was 30 years ago...!

I had some very greasy huge onion rings on Saturday evening.

Saw np for gallbladder pain. Got blood work. Tomorrow ultrasound of abdomen.

My diet to cure gallbladder:
B: soymilk and bran flakes
L: Ezekiel bread and vegan or fat free cheese
D: Refried beans and raw veg

My mother did NOT appreciate the smell of refried beans heating in the microwave! I think it was the cumin she objected to.

Anyway, i just IMAGINE all this fiber hustling out my gallstones! After a year or three, yeah i was pretty cured. Now these are pretty much the basics of my diet. Oh, plus fruit and coffee and cookies. And chocolate. I just did NOT want my gallbladder out.

White blood cells high in my urine. Infection likely. Dr hasn’t reviewed it yet. Abdominal Ultrasound at 9 am tomorrow.

Ultrasound was at 10. Will have to reschedule as pnurse med review is at 11.

Us rescheduled to 2 pm.

Ultrasound went ok. Results in the portal later today. Nervous! Pdoc thought I was doing well. Said not to take. Klonopin the morning of the biopsy.

There are some cysts- benign- on my left kidney. My liver is still fat. Not much has changed since my last ultrasound in 2019. Gallbladder fine. They suggested a contrast MRI of my liver. We’ll see. The insurance didn’t want to pay for an MRzi several years ago but maybe with this in my record and depending what the biopsy says?

I'm glad your ultrasound was clear. I hope the biopsy gives you lots of answers.

The nurse is going to call and discuss my ultrasound and blood and urine test results with me.

My biopsy is Tuesday morning. Gotta not take my blood thinner tomorrow! Can’t forget!

I just put a note on my blister packs to not take the blood thinner!

Two blood thinner doses not taken! That’s one day down. Now for tomorrow….(And Tuesday morning.)

I saw the OBGYN about my menopause symptoms and far-between periods. She said I can’t have estrogen which I knew but she also added that I can’t have progesterone pills either! So I’m getting a Mirena IUD on Monday with a different doctor. It will keep my periods light or nonexistent. I’ve had two of them before. So all and all it was a short, nearly-pointless appointment! All I have now is gabapentin for perimenopause. I hope it works!

I got my clothes clean in preparation for my recovery and some food, too. Just need to get gas at some point. We have to check in at 10 tomorrow. It’s gonna be a long morning /afternoon for N3. Also, he went to the dentist after many years of not going. He has 3 cavities and one wisdom tooth that doesn’t need to come out just yet. So it could’ve been much worse!

N3 is not responding! He needs to be in the car now!

It went well. I remember the whole procedure. I was on fentanyl and versed. Very spacey and didn’t care that they were stabbing me in the side. I was fine with pain in recovery for 3 hours- didn’t need pain meds but since they discharged me I’ve been in pain because I’m moving around. I was told to drink water and eat as I slept from 5 pm till 8:30 am. Was told that was from the anesthesia and I should drink more water and eat even though they fed me a yummy ham sandwich and chips and 3 tiny cans of Diet Pepsi yesterday. I made a milk yogurt and flax smoothie a bit ago. Feeling dizzy but I think that’s from the increase in gabapentin last Friday. Results from the biopsy in 3 days. I’m scared of what they’ll say!! Drinking more water as I hadn’t had any since Monday. Goya a message to my pnurse about the dizziness as that started before the biopsy - after the gabapentin increase Friday. I’m getting my scripts delivered today as I’m not allowed to drive for 24 hours. My procedure took 15 minutes they said but I thought it took longer when I looked at the clock in the OR. Maybe that was just from clean up? My side hurts and I asked if I could take Advil as Tylenol worries me with my liver being in the state it is now with high enzymes and just been stabbed 2 or 3 times. Waiting for pdoc’s case manager to get back to me about the dizziness. On Friday I’m supposed to increase the dose from 300 to 600! Worried about that. I’m back on my blood thinner. Livers bleed easily hence no blood thinners prior to the procedure. Having chills but that could be a perimenopause thing. More later. My meds are being delivered after noon. No idea when they’ll get here.

Advil is ibuprophen and is worse for the liver than tylenol. I hated giving up my ibuprophen, but its been about a year now so i guess you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! Still tylenol kinda feels like baby aspirin to me!
