Anyone actually start feeling high from it?

Rather hypomanic.

I'm currently making research if my highs are somehow related to caffeine. So far, there seems to be no correlation...

There goes my hoping that I'm not bipolar... [Though one psychiatrist told me I'm definitely not bipolar on the basis of one session (and during that session he also said "Well, if you said yes to these questions you're definitely bipolar" - weird....)]

Anyone have any input? Caffeine

Hi Katie,

I'm a strange one, caffeine has an opposite effect on my system. Even though my Pdoc says no caffeine after 6 p.m., I always have a cup of java about an hour before bed. It helps me to relax.

Good luck in your "research"!

Dee

Caffeine is the only addiction I have left, and it's been the hardest to give up.

However, when I have been able to stay off it for a couple days at a time, I saw an improvement in my bipolar symptoms.

Good luck with your research!

p.s. I've been to a few nutty docs too--I took my daughter to one guy who was so weird my daughter said she thought he left one of his patients to see his appts. that day.
