I just had an epiphany. I was wondering why I was so awake and my mind's been full lately to the point of overload I think. Like I wrote a huge blog on my myspace site and even then only could type fast enough to write about half of it. Ooops. I've also notidced judgement has been impaired at some points with doing the cocaine a while back and just once; but, have drank some here and there. Had sex with someone I didn't know and so on. I'm feeling weird right now like foggy but weightless too sitting here; very odd. I realized I had drank a liter of diet coke since this afternoon and maybe that's it. I know lately I've been wondering if I"m manic the past week or so but I guess atleast tonight is probly explained differently. Does any of this ring true for everyone else? Does anyone know how much caffeine is much or what is recommended by a doctor of some sort. Thanks. Danielle

Some people are more sensitive to caffeine than others. Those energy drinks are really popular, but they're full of caffeine (and usually sugar), and are really bad for you. Plus, you get energy from them, but then you crash. I don't know about any doctor's recommendations, but I'd guess they'd say, the less caffeine, the better. You'd want very little in your diet, if any.

They just had a news report last night saying a study suggests that drinking soda, whether diet or not, raises your risk for heart disease. I don't know if it's because of the caffeine or what; they didn't say. I certainly drink too much of it.

I drink about two liters of soda a day, maybe more. I'm sure getting rid of soda in my diet (even though most of it is diet) would be highly beneficial to me.

I cut caffeine out of my life about 2 1/2 years...it has helped with the head aches I use to get...also I did it as I was taking sleep medication...I figured if I was going to take that I better not be counter acting it with caffeine...

I tend to be highly sensitive to it...
