I need to do it. I think it is the best single thing that stabilizes my moods, which have just been unbearable these last few weeks. I need to try to help myself.

Does anyone else find exercise helps them?

My issue is motivation . I'm so bad at exercising by myself consistently. And no one i know will do it with me. Anyone want to be my "workout buddy"? Lol. I'll make sure you stick to your plan while you make sure I do too! I'm going to try to take on "Insanity" again. I quit halfway through last time, and that was with someone doing it with me :/........

Yeah, I find exercise helpful especially dancing (for fun) weightlifting and playing playground type games will make me feel better, walking helps too and i always listen to music for indoor exercises. But I also have lack of motivation and really exercise on impulse very late at night And in the fall iam in marching band and since we not only play music we move while playing and it is a very mental and physical activity and helps keep me in shape

I force myself into the gym 3 - 4 x a week. I do more because I'm obsessed about my weight and appearance. It's not something I enjoy, and it really doesn't help me energy wise..

Hi, I find exercise is the BEST!! I wouldnt commit to you, just b/c I am unable to follow through with anything and I would become so anxious about disappointing you etc that I would probably become hysterical and stop coming to PC....luckily all that potential drama can be avoided b/c Ive developed some sort of heat allergy and my body cannot seem to regulate itself...it is all ***ded up!!!, so I cant get hot and sweaty is my point! Me too, I have been looking for some kind of exercise to do, I take my dog out just as the sun is going down. I think it is great that you are going to do it, maybe you should just create your OWN thread and we can all cheer you on and comment...you can post about your progress........knowing we're looking to see how you're doing might be real motivating!!! and we can motivate you!!! good luck, Chains

Hope its okay I'm here even though I don't have BPD. I bought the Insanity workout because I needed to get back into exercise. Haven't had the motivation since my marriage problem but now I feel weaker. Used to be in great physical condition. I bought it on Sunday and done it for 3 days - it really in an insane and great workout. If you want to post here, I'll follow you and let you know how I'm doing as well. I'm glad I bought and good luck with starting again.

Chains-- I'm sorry you can't get hot and sweaty, that stinks! What do you mean about starting my own thread? Lol this is my own thread isn't it?

Lynn- once you get through the first week it gets easier .. Then it gets harder the first week of the second month again, especially since the workouts get longer.. Im going to do the first three days starting tomorrow then start again Monday.. I did that on accident the first time i did the workout and was so sore after the first days then Fine when I officially started it, so I was glad I did it like that..

Thanks for offering to follow my progress both of you . Lynn please do let me know how you do with it! good luck to you too!

Thanks 3little.birds. Basically I'm starting at square 1 since I haven't been exercising. Done other DVD's before and I'm really impressed with this workout. Every muscle in my body's sore but its a good kinda sore lol. I appreciate the structure this program gives me and its worth the money IMO. I want to live to be a grandmother one day and exercising will help me do that. Good luck to you too.

Yea.. I'm a poor college student so I just downloaded online on a torrent site actually :X . I wanna look good and be sane again.. That's my prerogative haha.. But yes it will definitely help both of us live to be grandmothers

And Shawn t is a very good trainer-- dig deeper lol. He's good at getting me to stick in it just a minute longer, ya no?

I exercise for an hour and a half-ish usually everyday, though I skip a day every week. I walk/jog and bicycle. I don't think it does anything for my mood afterwards, but while exercising at least my thoughts drift less. I think overall it's a good thing if you have the time. Unfortunately, as a college student who's a biology/music double major, sometimes it gets a bit harder during the year.

Hi 3little.birds - just wanted to check in and see if you did any exercising today. I did my 3rd DVD - Cardio/Max Recovery. I really liked it - no cardio...just strengthening, stretching and yoga positions. Really impressed with some of the unique positions and variety - this helps with muscle confusion. Surprisingly I already feel a little stronger and more muscle definition.

I do mine around 4:00 pm - can't do it after dinner on a full stomach. Today I did it with my 10 yr old - she's great with exercise because she does competitive skipping. So let me know how you're doing and I'm here to give you a gentle nudge.
