When you work 40 hrs and have a different sleep schedule then your partner...
Feel like your partner doesn't want you so you want to seek attention from someone else and then get jealous they are spending it with their partner. Doesn't help that your partner is sick and doesn't want to cuddle.  I just want some attention, but don't want to cry to get it.

When you realize that you want to emotionally betray your partner to get their attention because you feel like they are losing interest in you.
Thankfully mindfulness and analyzing past behavior /finally/ gave me the tools to address this and not cause needless heartbreak...still I feel alone. :/ |

When you've posted twice, in two different threads, how lonely and hurting you are because your husband is out of town and you miss him, and nobody has even bothered to click Hug on either of those posts, and now you're thinking, "Well, I guess nobody gives a....."

When you give up on intimate relationships for years because the past ones were all so "awesome" until they ended badly for random reasons nobody could have possibly predicted. When you hear said reasons at the time, it seems like trivial crap so you think its because you are inherently flawed as a human being, but when you meet your match someday and somebody puts you through the same crap you realize it isn't so trivial anymore now that the shoe is on the other foot.

When you're in the middle of a text message or PM chat with your family or friends and your happy and feeling good then all of a sudden they stop texting back (for whatever reason) and straight away you feel angry and neglected and want to lash out at them. Resisting the urge to tell them never to bother speaking to you again...
