Thanks It has been ____days since I purged.

Mindfulness, trying to eat slowly and enjoy everything I do eat. And relaxation exercises. If I can get past that initial urge to run to the fridge and grab something to eat (when I'm just craving stuff and not actually hungry) I can be okay. Also, I let myself have treats in moderation, I think that's important, and try not to talk negatively to myself if I don't eat "perfectly".

Back to one day. At 60 with an anorexia starting point transitioning into binge/starve, this has to have been about the 50,000th time I have lost control. When you look at the stats and the belief that history repeats itself, I don't have a great deal of hope for the future......

It's day 3! Not much, but it's a start!

I have a list of healthy food picked out for when I go grocery shopping Thursday.

My therapist is a little concerned about my weight loss and weight obsession. But the point is, I finally was able to see her today after 2 months of not having a counselor, I think seeing her will make a big difference. It's hard recovering with no support, that could be part of why I relapsed a few months ago. I see her again in 2 weeks plus I see my doctor next week.

Time to get a roll on recovery! It has been ____days since I purged.
