Candy, do you have anything you can take for anxiety? Don't be afraid to ask for it. Depression and anxiety walk hand in hand with chronic pain.

Thank you all for the good info and advice about Belle. I will try to get some cat food. Maybe I could mix in a little bit of it with the puppy chow.

I've lost 85 pounds because of the ulcerative and regular colitis added to the Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency. I can't have fats and I can't digest most foods. I can't eat fruit or vegies except for potatoes. I was going to try cooked carrots yesterday, but I have a Dr's appt tomorrow and didn't want to take the chance on being sick for days. Honestly, just thinking about most foods makes me feel like tossing my cookies.

My Drs all think it's wonderful that I've lost so much weight because I was over weight. They just don't realize why I'm losing it except for my gastro.

Child, I am so sorry, but I am not in shape to read your trigger message right now, but I send you gentle hugs. Please, call your pdoc or t right away. It's so important to stay safe.

I love you all.

My body is like an old wooden boat tied up to the dock in the waves: my bones groan and snap and pop and whine and screech with every movement. But I am at work, knuckling down and ignoring all that I can. Thank you for listening! You are all great.

Hi Everyone,

I've been a little busy the last few days. I survived my family reunion with only sun poisoning and burnt lips, so I count myself extremely lucky!

My knees are doing better unless I go to the grocery store or something like that. I didn't wear my brace yesterday and paid a great price for it. I am going to ask my Dr. if there are ankle/arch braces. I'll wear them if they will help the pain.

My friend let me borrow her portable sewing machine so I can take up my clothes. I am so glad. I did break down and order a pair of decent capris that were on super sale, but the rest I can take up and have something that doesn't hang off me. I don't have a kitchen table, so I have to move my computer all around on my desk so I can use the machine. I hope to do that tomorrow evening.

The maintenance man is coming tomorrow to work on the apartment and since there are a lot of things that have to be fixed, it will take a lot of time.

Belle's vet appointment is Friday. I need help with her food and she also needs an allergy pill. She is itchy and she coughs and chokes. It started with the pollen explosion in the three or four days we had of Spring before we hit full blown Summer.

Love you all!

The fibro is getting better with the prn lyrica. I do normally take it every day but sometimes only once. Getting there tho. I was IP again, the doc in there wouldn't give me really anything for pain, not tramadol flexeril lyrica or anything... tylenol and meloxicam was it. And they weren't working. He did give me a lidocaine patch (5% I think) for while I slept and it was amazing! I see my pain specialist later this month, I think I'm gonna ask about getting a rx for those patches. Mainly for the really bad days.

Good day, horrible night. Don’t remember ever having a flare start when I am in bad. Bizarre. But fm will keep you guessing. Ha! Been trying for sleep for 4 hours now. Took meds and nothing. I am just trying to ride it out. Thank y’all for letting me say this. It helps to just know that someone else knows about the struggle.

Saw my pdoc Tuesday. Gawd I am so lucky I found him! He is great. He helped me see how life events have contributed to fibro pain and vice versa.

We talked about CBD oil. It is safe to use with my psych meds. He said the patients he has who've tried it either had no benefit or it worked wonderfully for them. I'm willing to try it if it can't hurt and might help. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Pachy posted an interesting link in the political discussion social group forum about the current political environment triggering old traumas from childhood. It also helps explain some stuff that's going on with me. Please, I'm not trying to start a political debate here, just pointing out how I've been triggered.
