I know not everyone celebrates Christmas, not a Christian myself. Am wishing all of you the best possible the next few days and into the new year.

FYI, I am leaving for a few days. I will not have computer access again until Wednesday or Thursday so I won't be here for awhile. Will think of all of you while I'm gone.

Fibro is giving me a Christmas Eve present, am having the flare from Hades. I do not want to drive three hours to get where I'm going. I want to crawl into bed an stay there until this passes.

I can't put into words the pain I am in. Has anyone taken baclofen? It's the new muscle relaxer the doctor gave me and I had a not so good reaction but I need something so I thinking about not taking the full dose.

I have tried Baclofen. I found it very helpful with muscle spasms/pain, yet have a breathing reaction to it -- shortness of breath. I now use Zanaflex(tizanidine) or Soma (carisopradol).

What type of a reaction are you experiencing?

Wishing you comfort.

Had a change of plans. The horse who boards with me starting acting oddly yesterday afternoon. I wasn't sure if he was getting sick or not. Ended up staying home to keep an eye on him. He seems okay this morning so am headed to my friend's house in a bit.

Figured out what's causing the flare, there's a cold front headed this way. That might be why Woody (the horse) was acting oddly yesterday too.

Merry Christmas all!

Merry Christmas to all! I hope all of you feel better and that the horse feels better, too.

Gus, I love your countdown!!!! The picture of the birds is breathtaking!

Belle is busy playing with the toy reindeer she got for Christmas. She's very happy.

I'm going to my brother's house for dinner today. I hope to come home soon and finish out the day watching John Wayne westerns with Belle.

I am thinking of each of you and holding you in my heart.

WC I have been on soma for 10 years but with the new DEA rules I can't take that and my current seizure med so it was easier to change the muscle relaxer. So my doctor put me back on flexeril which had stopped working that's why I went to soma but she tried it again and it gave me really bad dry mouth. So on to the next one.

The new drug OMG I was so dizzy, had breathing issues my heart was racing the list is endless. I did give it another try last night I took a 1/3 of the dose I was supposed to. Same thing happened just not so bad but bad enough and the headache it left me with. So hopefully the doctor will be in tomorrow if not I will leave her a message. It's a good thing hubby got off work early Friday because I could not walk to the kitchen and had trouble even walking to the bathroom.

I did have a pity party on Saturday when I just had to say forget it and if the house doesn't get dusted or mopped so be it.

I am sorry you are having such adverse reactions to baclofen.
I know I cannot take it at any dose, unfortunately.
Please be very careful. I hope your doctor can prescribe a relaxant which better suits you soon.

The holidays can be a very stressful and sad time. More then once I broke out in tears because I either hurt to much or couldn't do the things I needed to do ie: dust I would have to sit on the floor to dust the table the TV sits on.

We lost one officer on Christmas Eve to a drunk driver. Him and his partner were just sitting in their patrol car when a 22 year old drunk driver who was also speeding hit their car. One officer is still alive but the other officer died. He has 3 kids ages 12, 6 and 2. Their family was supposed to be home Christmas morning to open up presents. There is no reason for drunk driver nowadays. Call uber or just don't drive. The officer was only 33 years old.

We had to drive by the spot on our way to my grandmothers house and the amount of people driving fast or lane jumping at high speeds was shocking.

I hope everyone is ok.

Gus, your pic about cleaning up Christmas "stuff" is why I didn't put up my tree this year. I wasn't going to be home. Seemed like work to put it up and take it down, so I didn't.

I'm back folks. I enjoyed seeing my friend and her family, but am glad to be back home with my fur babies.

Woody, the horse who was sick Sunday, GALLOPED up for dinner tonight. I guess he's feeling better!
