Did go to the exam- dr didn’t find anything concerning (yay!) but thought *I* wouldn’t be ok until I knew for sure via imaging. Told her if she says I’m ok, I’m ok. Often I can get the kids to go do something else while I do these appointments, but not this time. They wouldn’t leave my side.
Dr kept talking about the mammogram and I stared at her blankly. Said I couldn’t do it.
“I think you can”
Shook head.
“I think you can”

“We’re not at a point where I feel I need to force you to do it... but... you’re 41, and over time... this.... you need to work through this with your therapist.”
I shook my head.
“Would your therapist come with you?”
I highly doubt it and I couldn’t do that anyway.
She was not up to considering another form of imaging. Or rather that insurance demands this first and then more if need be.
I tried to explain to her my switching parts, the issues of being topless, and the Little’s trying to fight or run while clamped in. @_@
She sort of got it... but said I was doing fine there with her.
I’ve known her 3 years, I’m lying down and mostly covered, I don’t have to actively participate in any way, and I took 2.5mg Valium and 1mg Ativan to tolerate that. I also almost didn’t make it several times.
In my head, the image presented to me is of the kids scrunching up in a ball on the floor and letting loose their high pitched screams. Really not what I want to go thru.
Plus, the littles bite....

Anyway, good news is that I don’t have to come back for a year unless anything changes.

Kiya, did you know that more lumps are discovered by women doing self-exams than by docs and their machines ? and if your Pdoc will certify you as having a relevant psychiatric issue, the insurance must MUST cover the alternative exam. this might just be your last pressure test~!

Gus, I want cake and balloons!

I take Belle to the vet on Monday to get her yearly shots and this time I'm going to ask them to clip her nails. Then I'm going to start working on her socks again. She likes to take one and hide it from me! She knows they are hers. She has been sleeping on her back sideways on her side of the bed and she sticks her head and front paws out from under the covers. She's so cute that way! I will make sure she knows socks are for warmth. She likes to watch me put mine on each day.

I'm so glad to hear from all of you. My depression became much, much worse so I have had to double my medication as of yesterday. It knocks me out! Belle just curls up under her little blanket on my lap and sleeps with me.

Christina, I don't know what kind of shawl you want to make. What an interesting concept. I hope you can do it.

Liz, I checked your blog. I'm patiently waiting for you to write.

I did it !!!!! I made a big chunky throw. Took me about 4 hours but I had to make sure I did each step right. I think it came out really nice

Today I went out and bought 5 more big rolls to start my next one !!!

I have really been hurting but I’m so focused on this new addiction I just get up move around and go right back to it.

My new Rheumatologist office called with my blood work my crp shows “ lots” of inflammation and X-rays show degeneration. He will discuss it with me in 2 weeks. I know he was questioning my PsA diagnosis. But if the sulfasalazine was helping then ???

Ugh I’m sick of not knowing what’s wrong and I’m afraid I’m going to just be told here .... take Lyrica for your fibromyalgia and I’ll see you in X months

Belle has been very sick all night with diarrhea. I have already made rice, which she won't touch and I'm cooking chicken now.
My friend is going to get some plain pedialite for her. I have no idea what caused it. Good thoughts and prayers are sure appreciated.

I'm alive but barely. Have bronchitis real bad for the last 3-4 weeks. Finely went to the doctor last week but the meds are not working. It's 2:37 am here and the cats got me up at 12:30 am I more then likely will not be able to sleep until hubby leaves for work in 3 hours and then it will only be for a couple of hours.

The muscle pain is real bad and with all the new laws I can't take more normal muscle relaxer because it's now not allowed with my seizure meds. Hmmm been taking it for 10 years but that doesn't seem to matter. I can't keep up with all the new rules for medicine and the pain is relentless

Finally~! we got about 8 inches of heavy, wet snow~! i shoveled once, but have much more to do, before going to the store Thurs. and over doing it, again. Timing is everything, in this life~~ O.O

Belle is eating a few kibbles now, after encouragement. She won't drink Pedialite, and after smelling it, I can't say I blame her. She is playing some and that's a good sign.

The pdoc doubled my Effexor ER. It knocks me out and I can't even hear the phone when it rings. I hope I get used to it soon. I haven't been on the new dose for a week yet.

I am so sick of being sick if haven't lupus, fibro, pulmonary fibrosis etc wasn't enough this bronchitis is sure kicking my butt. I just sleep, take meds, run to the bathroom and try and eat and I am not eating much and lots and lots of breathing treatments. The breathing treatments make my BP go up so extra meds to make it go back down and around and around I go.

Christina I am glad you are back home.

I hope everyone is hanging in there I will try and keep you guys posted.

Jan, I'm so sorry about your friend. I'm like a germaphobe if someone sick comes near me - wash hands, sanitize everything in sight. Since my office is in a school (kids = walking petri dishes) I keep my door closed most of the time. Everyone, be safe, take care of yourself!

Christina, I laughed at myself when I read your post about your throw. At first I thought you meant you'd thrown out a chunk and couldn't figure out what that meant.

Work is, well work. The adults are worse than the kids for all the nasty cattiness. Stressful enough working with the kids. The adults acting like drama queens is worse. On top of that the last three days have been killers for fibro. Thank gawd the weekend is here!

I spent today pressure washing my house. Yeah, mid-February and I was pressure washing the house. Gawd I love Florida! I'm tired and sore tonight, but it's normal healthy tiredness and soreness.

It's good to hear from all of you.

Christina, I'm so sorry you lost a friend, too.

Liz, I'm a germaphobe, too. My parents raised me that way. I've had to lighten up a lot because of Belle, but you should see me scrub down the cart at the grocery store! I clean the basket part all over and then get new wipes and scrub my hands and wrists. People look at me like I'm a Martian, but I don't care.

I am happy to report I go to the ear specialist on Monday.Finally someone will help me and hopefully no more ear aches! I heard from my pdoc and he told me I can take my medicine before bed so tonight is the first time I'm going to do that. I'm excited because I should get a really good night's sleep.

I have discovered that Belle is half cat! Tonight I had the flashlight out and she went wild chasing the light! I'm going to have to get one of those colored ones for her. It's something new every day!
