Hey y'all. Sorry I've been MIA. I had some labs come back right around the beginning of the year that my GP didn't like, cholesterol and glucose. So trying to eat better is on my list right now... but also came down with the flu this past weekend and I am so exhausted right now. Getting better, but still feel pretty awful.

Hello Friends,

I hope you are all safe and warm. It's so cold here, although the apartment is warm enough except for the floors, of course.

I'm going to try to go see my GP over the ear infection. They are both infected now and have fluid. I've been sick with my colitis since Christmas. I'm down to where I can't tolerate dry toast. I guess I need to see if I can get an appt. with the specialist very soon.

My sleeping has been erratic. This morning Belle decided it was time to wake up but I wanted to sleep some more. So, Belle stood on the side of my face with both her front paws. She won!

Hello all. Haven't been online much the last week. I went back to work Monday. By the time I got home at night I was too tired to even bother turning on the computer.

The arctic weather blasting the country worked its way to the Sunshine State yesterday. Temps are nothing compared to Northern states, but mighty cold for here. I spent time yesterday bringing all my potted plants in the house. Weatherman is predicting freezing temps at night here. I know for those of you experiencing negative temps as your high that doesn't sound like much, but remember this is a subtropical area. Our poor plants can't tolerate such low temps.

The cold front that brought these temps caused both my fibro and arthritis to flare last week. I kept looking for the ice pick someone was stabbing into my left knee it hurt so bad.

Since tomorrow is MLK Day I have a nice three day weekend. I plan to spend most of it in front of the fireplace enjoying the warmth!

Christina I am happy you are going home but I wish you could get in to see your old pdoc I can't believe they can't find room for you.

Liz did you get snow ? We heard Tampa got a dusting of snow. I can remember when I was in kindergarten it snowed in the Bay Area. Our parents got us up early to play in it but by lunch time it was gone. It's been real cold here to. We finely got rain but with all the wildfires we know have massive mud slides. People are missing it's real sad.

I haven't been doing to well but oh well the cats are also keeping me up. I see the rhemy next week

I wish so much I could take all your aches and pains away, both in your bodies and in your hearts.

Now both my ears are all infected, but on a good note, my stomach is doing a little better. That's a major victory!

We are under a severe winter storm warning, so I'm not going to try to go to the Dr. until Thurs., if they have an opening.

Belle's tummy rumbled a lot last night so I rubbed it for her and got her up close to me so it would be nice and warm. She doesn't touch my nose anymore before she goes to sleep. She sticks her cold nose in my ear!

Cake, no snow this far south. Wickedly cold a few nights, but no snow. The poor citrus growers are getting slammed this year. First the hurricane blew a lot of the young fruit from the trees. Now they are trying to protect what's left from freezing. So glad my income does not depend on the weather.

There's another cold front moving through. Pain in my knees got so bad last night it kept me awake.

Did too much yesterday and am paying for it today. I like to run all my errands on Friday so I don't have to go anywhere on the weekends. Didn't get home from work and errands until almost 8:30 last night. I'm wiped out today. Had plans to do things around the yard and house today. I suspect I'm going to spend the day curled up on the sofa.

A Warm Hello to All!

Just stopping in to catch up and to see how everyone is doing!

I am struggling with depression and pain. I have had my meds adjusted again, just yesterday. I hope it helps. I am tired of relying upon pills to help, as they rarely help. I'll keep trying.

Gus, wow on that cake! It's so beautiful! I can just see a nice dragon guarding it.

I had no idea there was pink sand. Let's plan a trip there.

I still have infection in both ears. The pancreas/colitis is out of control. I've been living on dry toast but I broke down tonight and ate a sandwich. Now I'm even more worried. Oh well, what will be, will be.

I miss all of you and I miss not being here every day. I've been in the recliner or in bed. I am so thankful for them. Belle is doing very well. I have discovered that I can break a hard candy into tiny pieces and she can have a couple of them as a special treat. She loves them and her breath smells better!

He’ll fellow sufferers!

I moved back to Tennessee from Florida thankfully.

Between my fibro and PsA I’m feeling terrible and my asthma flared and bronchitis and both ears are blocked and will likely rupture by morning, saw my Dr today and on antibiotics and steroids ..... they really can mess me up Bipolar wise but a girl has to breath.

Fml
