Thanks to the antibiotics, I have a colitis flare. I am miserable.

Cake, please take care of yourself and call 911. It will help you and you need to be so careful.

Kiya, Liz and Christina, please take care of yourselves. Oh, how I wish we all lived near each other so we could help each other.

Everyone, you are all special and you are all excellent mountain climbers.

This is gearing up to be a female dog of a flare.

I had things planned to accomplish today. That all got set to the side. I'm going to have a nice quiet day around the house not doing much of anything.

It's 3AM. I've been awake since midnight thirty when my reflux woke me to barf. Now I can't get back to sleep because of the fibro pain. Oh poor me. Somebody got some cheese to go with that whine?

((((( LettinG0)))))

Thank you for all the hugs and kudos. How are you, dearheart?

((((( Liz ))))) How are you managing to hold up at work? I don't know if you can get on the net from there.

((((( Everyone )))))

I can't even keep part of a piece of dry toast in my system. I see the specialist in a week. I don't think there is anything they can do. I don't want tests again. I know my Ulcerative Colitis is in flare. They don't have to prove it.

I'm having company today and I have to go to the store. Pray or send good thoughts to me. Thanks!

Jan, I can't/won't visit PC while I'm at work. Big Brother literally watches what we do on the computer. I do not want anyone at work tracking me here. PC is for me!

I never went back to bed this morning. I decided if I couldn't sleep I might as well get some work done. I'm having computer issues at work, as in the dang thing is not working! I figured I'd knock out what I needed the computer for before I left.

I feel so rotten that I would've called the boss and asked if I could just work from home, but had a new client coming in. I didn't want to miss the appointment. The kid's mother calls me about half and hour before the appointment to say that she's not going to bring the kid because she's afraid he'll be mad at her for making him go to counseling! Okay, the problem is that the kid is misbehaving so she's going to cave in rather than make him mad! *sigh*

Anyway, anyone surprised that I'm exhausted tonight? To top that off I hurt so bad. I'm going to sign off soon and go curl up with a book, then head to bed.

I am so sorry Liz that you are feeling so bad.

I could not sleep friday night and I think I went to bed about 4 am. to top things off sleeping in the front room in an upright position is easier for me to breath.

Jan and everyone I hope you get some relief soon. There is days that I just can't get up literally. Hubby has to help me get up to go to med. I am only 45. On top of everything my son who is special needs turned 25 yesterday. I did not want to go out to dinner but I did. He had a good time. The sad part his dad did not even call him or text him. How can a parent do that to a their own kid. I just don't get it.

I have increased my breathing treatments from 4 a day to 6 a day which has brought my O2 level up to 79. The insurance still will not cover for me home oxygen. I just dont get it.

Hugs to all

(((((((((((((Liz!!! Cake!!!!)))))))))))))))))

my update is that counting today's 3 hours, I've now spent 18 hours working on my mom's hoarding problem (before she goes into have a knee replacement tomorrow morning) and that I put my shoulder out when asked to haul her ancient vacuum up 14 stairs.... That was the shoulder we're trying to fix in pt. ah well. ice and heat, right? (and maybe a sling...)

Big Brother does have a tendency to watch over your back. I'm sorry you can't come here while at work.

That Mom needs a good dose of reality! Brother!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone is safe from the storms and that you are all feeling better.

Please check in as you can.

The flare is still with me. I don't know if this happens to any of you, but there are times during a flare I get the shakes. It looks like I'm shivering, but I'm not cold. I was shaking like a leaf when I went to bed last night. I ache. I'm exhausted. whine...whine...whine...

Oh and let's not forget the fibro fog, which I did! My brain went out to lunch on Monday and hasn't come back. If anyone finds it wondering around would you please set it in a safe place so I can come get it?

I shake but I also have seizures and tremors so it's hard to tell what is causing what.

I hope you feel better soon

Kiya, how was your moms surgery?

Cake, mom's surgery went well, but recovery is beating her butt. :/ the good news is that she did get moved to a facility to recover (so I can *cough* wage war on her house... ). Last I heard, she was pretty sick with a stomach ache and other unpleasantries.
I am friggen exhausted. I don't know who i'm kidding about getting her house clean. I haven't had this level of exhaustion since 1999. And right when I think I'm getting better, I get worse with this cough and sore throat/ sinus... thing.

Plan for tonight is to get some food in me, rest some (I taught today), spray some throat stuff in me, go to her house and get some essentials, go to the next town over and see her tonight... all in the next 2 hours. yup - it's doable, right? :/
I just want to sleep. BUT! At least I don't have to take her to pt tomorrow!!!! YAY!!!!! :dancingchilie:

Liz I will keep my eyes open for that runaway brain, they are tough to capture when they prefer to go romping off

Cake, I so wish you could catch a break and feel a bit better, Your too kind to be saddled with some many things slapping you about

Kiya Glad to hear your Moms surgery went well. As for all this lingering crap from your sinus infection Is it possible you picked up some kinda mold or something while working at her house?

Liz, if I see your brain, I'll try to catch it. I haven't found mine and it's been missing for years.

Oh Cake. I hope you feel better.

Kiya, I sure hope you haven't picked up a mold at your mother's house. Please, please find a way to take at least a little care of you.

Kiya take it easy or you will end up in the bed next to your mom.

Liz your brain came through here but was going way to fast for me to catch it, sorry. I think it was heading to the beach

Everyone rest and take care Jan I hope your tooth is better

So I spent my evening at the ER. Had some lovely non-fibro sharp stabbing pain in my side that got worse and worse. Ended up on a morphine drip then having some endone and nurofen and a bunch of blood tests. Naturally they have no idea so I have to have ultrasounds this week.
I'm exhausted and drugged up and so scared I'll be in that much pain again when they wear off. It was horrific.
