Liz I am so happy I am happy you are getting more rest and I am happy your horse is better. I also hope you took it easy this weekend

Christina. Thank you for going to the doctor. I know it was the last thing you wanted to do but it is good you got it checked.

I hope everyone else is doing ok sorry for not writing something to each of you but I have been having a heck of a time lately. If it's not my own illness then my daughter or my son and Friday my husband and I got into it which is no way to start a weekend. Plus my mom and I got into it also.

Went to the rhemy and the cardio doc on Friday. It was supposed to be cooler but it was not. Both are in the same office my cardio appointment was with his PA which I am fine with. The appointment time was 10:30 am and my rhemy was for 11:30 am. I saw the rhemy first. Has I was checking out I asked how much longer to see the PA because the waiting room was standing room only and my BP has been better. He came up and asked what my BP was I told him and he said make an appointment for 1-2 weeks. My cardio doctor had called in sick so he was doing double duty. I was fine with that because I still had to go to the pharmacy and to the grocery store.

Then that night the cats kept me up all night. I ended up putting the kitten in his carrier which has a small litter box in. Lord he started Meowing then now no laughing. Sunny the big cat tried to break him out. I swear I wish I could have videoed it when that did not work he started trying to put dry cat food through the door I gave up and let them up I also gave up on trying to sleep and turned on the TV. At 4am both cats fell asleep. The little one right on me. My husband got up at 5:30 and took one look at me then the cats and told me to go to our bed.

I forgot to say I was sleeping in the front room that night for 2 reasons we were both grumpy and it was hot and he had to work so I took the couch so he could have the bed and the ceiling fan the front room also has a ceiling fan.

So while he was working Saturday I got to play with his power tools. He has been asking our son to trip some bushes which he has not done. Long story but my son has autism mild retardation and since my dad died he has been getting worse. I have an appointment with a psychiatrist on the 16th. He also has major OCD issues. So I am hoping this doctor can help. My son did come out and help when I was almost half way done but my husband was so happy to see the work done it was worth it but it tired me out.

Anyway I keep rattling on and on. It was an ok weekend. I did chores that hubby would normally do but he was working and they needed to get done.

Ok I will stop for know. Hopefully we will hear from some of you guys this week

In the words of Christina "be gentle with yourself"

Take care everyone

Hugs

hi all - thought i'd poke my head in.
went thru and hugged everyone
I see the cardiologist tomorrow. And I have to cancel my pt appointment due to having "scary symptoms" that she wants me to get cleared from the neurologist (grrrr - I don't like the one I had and haven't been able to schedule a new one).
So meanwhile, I am correcting typos on every word here, stumbling, having pain or numbing where I shouldn't be, and trying to pretend like everything's fine. Also struggling sometimes for breath. Fun.
Thinking of you all and hoping you all have as good a week as possible!

Oh, I hope and pray everyone will be ok. Please check in and let us hear from you.

I am hanging in here. My IBS and UC are in flare. Today I've got to go to the store and get a few things. Yesterday I wasn't able to walk without weaving, much less drive. Everything is in flare, due to having my teeth pulled. The meds are helping some though and that counts a lot.

Hugs to everyone.

Yes I use to take Neurontin.. Went up to 1800 mg a day and it honestly didn't seem to help. My GP switched me to Lyrica .. Does it help? hell I don't know to be honest, But I take it just in case.

I know lots of people find great relief with Neurontin and Lyrica..

It kicked my butt last night. I am supposed to take 1 pill for 5 days then go up to 2 pills for 5 days then 3 pills till my next appointment.

I fell asleep around 5 pm in the front room. My husband said he looked over and I was sitting up with my head down and the kitten was on top of my head chewing on my pony tail.

Today I am still very loopy

I take it and have done wonderfully on it. I've had no side effects and it didn't make me loopy - at least no more than normal.

what WOULD help me is to quit sugar and alcohol. Instead, I've been increasing both. And been isolating a lot more. not good for pain levels. I know better......

I went to a birthday party yesterday and can barely move today. The party was for a six year old and all I did was sit and watch. I shouldn't be in this much pain. I have too much to do.

I hope all of you feel better and are all right. Love you all.

It's hot has hell here today and it's expected to be like this all week. Then the power went out and 10 minutes later the smoke detectors all went off which sent us running but nothing. We would get one off then another would go on.

Since I have to do so many breathing treatments I have a medical thing attached to our address so we got our power back in an hour. The rest of the neighborhood should up within 2 hours

Other then that I thought I was going to die from the pain the other night but I made it. Now I have to decide if I want a shot in my hip to help with the pain.

Sometimes it just gets to much to deal with

Well we got a called 330am on Sunday .. Daughter in law was in Labor she had the baby before we arrived, Simple easy birth , first child, labor total was less than 6 hours and the baby is beautiful .

The dogs behaved like angels on the drive down ( this is a first for them) we left them alone in the hotel ( also a first) most of the day as we were at the hospital today and they behaved wonderfully.

That 13 hour drive always flares me up and its snotty rain here so pain is a total bytch. And my hair went " poof" and I look like a mangy poodle . lol

Anyway.. Going to be a hard week. Im hoping Hubbys first grandbaby will keep me going . He is currently over the moon in love !

Everyone be kind to yourself. gentle hugs

Cake, if your smoke detectors are hard wired into the house with battery back ups it could be that the batteries are dead. The detectors in my house make this truly annoying noise when the batteries go dead.
Thanks for this!

Congrats Christina and hubby!!!!

Had more dental work done yesterday. I honestly questioned if I could continue last night, but I don't have a choice. This too, shall pass... It will just take longer than I wish.

Hugs to all.
