Hi,
I have the pod program running but it looks like the dmoz response is generating several extra tags strings as shown in the subject of this message, (they didn't show on the message body) You can see my results by looking at http://escoffier.com/resources/assoc.html From what I see there are three instances of the tags being added by the become an editor question. Any help getting rid of them gratefully accepted. BTW I'm using php to do an include of the cgi using a ssi for the php. (phew that was a mouthfull ;<) TIA, George |

Well, they were probably put in there because some pages of the ODP have extra tables in them, which the program doesn't know/can't figure out on its own. So to ensure the page displays properly in Netscape (which will display a blank page if a table isn't closed properly), those tags were added. You might try editing the default footer file that comes with the script or look at line 238 and remove the occurrence found there. John

Hi Doc,
Thanks much for your quick response. I've tried a few work arounds but can't figure out how to overcome the extra tags. I'm just going to simplify and launch pod on a separate page. That seems to work just fine. Thanks much! George PS- If anyone else hase some suggestions it would be appreciated. |
