It's interesting you wrote you listened rather than watched the YouTube video - I find listening rather than watching is far more relaxing. I recently started listening to podcasts and find that puts me in a nice zone. Far more so than TV.

I woke up to abusive extended family drama (and ended up blocking someone). I was upset. But in the end it's classic this person and not my circus not my monkeys. It was also a reminder for me that my intuition is often bang on.


I long for more female friends!


I'm ok I guess. I am probably going to rest tonight.

I had some anxiety and what felt like a panic attack again today. I've taken my meds but I now don't feel sleepy. I live with other people and it's seeming like this is not going to work out too easily.

Today I'm a little stressed. I'm coping by eating comfort food and drinking cappuccinos. I've also done some organizing, which helps me feel better. I have one more area to tackle and then I'll be done.

My son called yesterday, still need to cook breakfast and have a class this morning. My other online job is very inconsistent now (they keep running out of work and I am not going to sit around and wait for work that may or may not be coming but I do check when I am at my desk)--that means this project is almost over. My next one starts on the 17th...

Just have a feeling that am working up to a full blown panic attack. It's not the medical procedure tomorrow. I know. Have everything organized, prepared. Afraid an attack will bring an abuse memory but I can't see a trigger. Part of me says don't need it today. Just not seeing the trigger, look harder. Another part says have it and get it over with. Time will tell!

I had a good day, we spent time with my husband's friend this morning who he hasn't seen because of the restrictions- that was really lovely.

I also made healthy choices today with my eating, and exercised too. Both of those things feel so much easier with sunshine!

I have been googling nutrition facts, & I ate a good breakfast this morning. Also I've been talking to myself with positive statements. At this moment I'm waiting for a tv program that I like, & after that I will fulfill one, or more, of my back burner goals.

Shopped at Aldi yesterday and just bought vegies, a pack of strawberries, a chuck roast and a couple of kombuchas (when I made kombucha, I got vinegar)--Oh and whipping cream--we all use it in our coffee and drink at least one quart of the stuff a day--probably more like a quart and a half--that's a lot of whipping cream!

When we took a break from our walk yesterday, I noticed dozens of grasshoppers on our philodendron so instead of doing the full walk, I cut the heads off of most of them (we don't use pesticides) and am going to look to get the rest this morning. My H's garden is fantastic (dozens and dozens of tomatoes will turn red soon)--I don't want those grasshoppers to ruin all his work. Thankfully, they find the philodendron more delicious than his garden right now....

@TunedOut I read about companion planting once, sometimes it means planting something that will take the pests away from something you don't want to lose! It's a challenge when you don't use pesticides, for some pests a mild soapy spray can work. Good luck protecting those tomatoes!

So, I'm doing well. I like to think of recipes to cook for my new man. So, I like cooking. So, I'm thinking of making chicken avocado salad next my way. I'm happy so far. Yes, it is partially due to my new man but also because I'm doing well overall. I know I'm a priority. When I'm with my new man, I try to focus on him but while I'm by myself I focus on myself. I'm really blessed. Two of my acquaintances suddenly passed away recently. It hit me hard! I was really saddened by their deaths. Life is short so don't waste it!! I am feeling grateful for all that I have in life.

[Some help is no help at all.
Therapist suggested I check out some groups to see how others handled some of the issues I'm dealing with. Attended two groups in two days and came away angry and more depressed. Either people were more depressed than I am or got angry at what they were being made to do threw. Nobody seemed to have concrete ideas. Just hang on it gets better. Sure!! If your arms don't give out first. Calling T........
