I understand exactly how you feel. I am new here and just posted yesterday. I was so far down in the hole that I could not see my way out. I finally gave in and took the afternoon off, went home, took a Seroquel and slept the afternoon away. Did I feel better, no not really. But I am also on Lithium, Trazadone, and Lexapro so eventually I always come back up from the dark places. I felt better today...not 100 percent but some better. Sometimes sleep is the only freedom I have from the pits of hell I call depression. I am so glad today I at least can talk to people without crying. It is very frustrating I know to be in that state. I am here with you. I feel your pain and your sadness. It will get better in time. We have to keep our focus on that hope.

(((((((((Pebbles))))))))

There are many here who know (and care about) just how you feel. You can feel safe sharing your troubles here.

Are you still seeing a psychiatrist and/or therapist?

When you see your doctor, ask him if he knows of any community-based clinics where you could get therapy for free or at a reduced rate. Some communities have these.

Good to see you posting pebbles. Journaling (writing everything down) can be a great relief. It will also help you, in the future, when you can reread what you wrote and then realize you are better. Often, with depression, it won't let us see any progress. Remember, depression tells us lies... it creates them in our brains. Listen to the loving support here, ok? Feel better.
