How did it all begin?

This time I could say it came suddenly. Secretly I think it built up slowly over a long time, but it all came out at once.

There I was, at work, just back from holiday, a girlfriend who loved me. I do a lot of creative stuff, and I'd been on a roll with my writing and my music.

Then, crash, can't cope, can't study, can't work, can't cook even, want to cry constantly and do so. Luckily my girlfriend still loves me.

There is a lot more background, past stresses, unresolved commitments, but I'm wondering whether others had it like this? Not a creeping syndrome but a breakdown.

I have to talk to a doctor about it all tomorrow, and my memory has gone quite poor, so I'm just trying to get some theory I can use to support my thinking as I try and work out the sequence of events.

Anyone?

sounds like stress-build-up to crash. if the good dr. wants to toss scrips at you, make sure they're for old, well-known anti-ds, as imipramine---better yet a referral to a good cognitive therapist. creativity is ephemeral---and it's 'built in' to your present neuro chemistry. you don't want to mess with that---a good cognitive threapist should be your first try at help. you're young and creative, and cool, baby so you might 'get-it'--- let me explain how 'talk-therapy' is not just 'talk'. go online and find my chum rupert sheldrake's page. there you will have a hard scientist showing we, and all forms (even electrons or quarks or galaxies) are the result of 'form-fields'---morpho-genetic fields. 'morph'=form, 'genetic'=coming into being. now these fields permeate all space time, without respect to astronomical distance. next is these fields do 'resonate'., exlaining telepath, etc. so, you're hardly a light-year from your Good gognitive therapisty, you're fields may resonate and i think that explains what i've seen in many cognitive therapist---some work, you just sit, even, life gets better---if it doesn't, right away, keep shopping. i haven't seen a good math treatment of this new and experimentaly proven deal, but it shows 'talk therapist' as 'pschcics' pretty much. but not inexplicable in modern life-science. so i'd see a talker first. their field may help yours. that's what they're paid for. whoops, someone's arresting me for having napster files.....have fun when your young.
