i get this alot rhapsody. sometimes its best to go against what is normally "you" and just let IT out.

i think what you are feeling is just pent-up anger and frustrations, and they need to be released soon. maybe try finding a creative outlet, like writing, art etc.

its a healthy feeling you have. we all go through it from day to day. we just learn to vent it one way or another.

good luck with it rhapsody. hope you feel better shortly.

Yeah I agree....... and I usually get in my car and turn up the radio with some hard rock & roll blaring in my ears and drive real fast down a one way street, but I have learned that this is not so safe and well, heck - my A/C is broke - lol.

Urgh it's horrible when you feel that way, isn't it? What about a really brisk walk, would that help? Might not be enough to release your anger, though. Just promise me you'll vent safely I want to "SCREAM"

Sounds like you made it through it. One thing I do these days is document when I was able to dispell a bad episode without screwing up things because of it. It is like patting ourselves on the back. You don't have much choice to eliminate stress it is part of life, but if we get better at how we react to it we are growing. Great job, getting through this one. I want to "SCREAM"

Yelling at the wind has worked for me before too.... but I have a friend who keeps telling me i really need to try punching a nice soft pillow.....

One lady I know even put a punching bag in her basement for that very thing.. to release anger of her childhood abuse..

Could be worth a try ya think? Hang in there!

Yeah that sounds excellent - except that I do not have a basement, to sandy in Florida for those types of rooms - lol..... but I have beaten a pillow with a tennis racket before - it worked wonders and the physical activity put me to sleep after wards.

I like to drive and punch my dashboard as I belt out all the bad words that I can think of. A question comes to mind. It is just words, why do you need to hold them in, especially if you are alone?

Oh great - I have started my period and now my PMDD has sent me over the edge.... like I needed that right now.

Feeling like.................. what's the use, I am going to hide away in my bedroom all weekend for the mere thought of people (even my loved ones) is more that my nerves can take.... I need silence above all else - maybe some Tylenol PM will help me pass the next 2-3 days away with out to much conflict.

Confused...

Glad your starting to have fun. I had my issues today and my boss said blow it off. I said I couldn't it usually took a week. She laughed and by the time we left today she said right I saw you smile. It is strange but when we accept who we are we can laugh at ourselves. My daughter told this one girl we hate she looked like Sarah Jessica Parker. She said I get that all the time I am a B----- like her too. It was the first time the conversation lost its tenseness and became funny.
