FEELS SO LOST!!! Feel like I'm losing control of everything. Can't cope... Don't recognize myself - today I looked in the mirror and was surprised at how crappy I looked. Scared.... Had a hand tremour the other day, which I think could be because of effexor XR. Can't stop it though - scared! don't know what to do... Feel like I'm falling so fast - don't know how to stop it. Today I couldn't even convince myself to leave the bathroom - it took me 15 min. to actually get up and move. LOST! HELP!

Breathe. Take a shower. Go for a walk. I wish I knew what to do to help you out - but we are here for you. Can you talk to someone about the hand tremor, especially if you think its caused by your med?

Take care of yourself - ****hugs******

You are not alone. I've suffered times where I look at in the mirror and unrecognizable to myself.

I've woken up days where I thought I'm going mad. I question everything I do and say... I don't know what is real or imaginary... I feel like I'm about to lose control. In my head I walk on eggshells or that I'm on the edge of a cliff and about to fall off. On these days I have a lot of internal dilemmas that I struggle with.

Yet... I am able to go to work and do everything I'm supposed to do and come back to my own hell. But... you can convince yourself that it is temporary and it's the disease talking. Because you will wake up where you have certainty... and you'll have plenty more of these days than days where you don't.

Let doc know about your situation and how you think it may be a side effect to the meds. Maybe s/he can prescribe you a different one.
