what happened?

does anyone out there no what it is like to give up trying? what happened to my life? i take long drives in the country at night and rage at God and at myself---i give up----my therapist tells me that i am stronger than the things that have happened and are happening in my life====i do not want to be strong anymore===i am not strong---i am weak and tired--what happened to me? to everything i had hoped for my life? i don't know---sometimes i ask God why he allowed me to be here--he doesn't answer

Yes....... God answered, and it was by keeping YOU here and ALIVE (that was His answer).

And - YES - I know how it feels to give up, and I NEVER want to go back to that place again.... for it was when I gave up that I tried to take my own life - Now, I desire to live for I am fighting back.

Hello and welcome to Psych Central.
I know that you are looking for answers regarding your issues with God, but everyone is allowed a certain amount of suffering to become the person that God wants them to become to serve himself and others. The best thing you can do for yourself to serve God, is to get the help you need at this time for youself to be the best person you can be at this time. The first step in any question is to feel part of the answer. I think and feel the Most important step is to feel like you are a person you want to be by getting the help you need to be stable and take things one day at a time from there, and try to be around people that make you feel wanted and respected and make you feel like you make a difference not only to yourself but to someone else as well. I hope you make many friends and aquaintences here that make a difference in your life and I think in time you will grow to see things in a different manner in which you see things now at this time. There are a lot of good and understanding people here at Psych Central that can help you on your journey and I hope you will let everone help you to find what you are looking for in life. it's really hard---the people here don't even know me and i am still so ashamed to say how bad i feel---i wish there was someone here--in my family or one of my friends that i could tell---but i can't---i am too ashamed

there is a real good reason why god put us here i guess

I know it i hard to tell people how you may be feeling at this time, but I really feel in time when you trust people more at Psych Ce ntral a lot of the fear of telling how you feel will be minimized. Everything takes time and time will take care of a lot of the questionable reasoning that you have at this time.
