I have been dailly looking for ways to help my self.

Every site i have been too and every method i found all say talk to a therapist or get medication.

I CANT!!

My country does not have therapist if you have a mental issue you're thrown into an asylm untill you die or you just have to suck it up and deal with it because no one in here cares.
My family would disown me if i tell them and im just out of options and this dead ends i keep walking into just makes it worst.

Im tired i will give anything for help i cant take this anymore.

It's Mauritania - that might be harder than other countries out there. It's also infamous for it's "treatments" and there are only two full time specialists in the entire country - both located at a clinic in the capital city called the CNP. However, the facility could help - to Zayn - are you near the capital or can you get there? The CNP seems to be staffed by both Mauritanian and French staff as far as I can tell (most links are in French). They should be able to help you.

Zayn, I'm going to re-post my response to your other thread here. Don't panic. There are plenty of things you can do without therapy or medication.

========== from the other thread you started =========
Hi Zayn,

In a way, you're in luck because the non-med treatments for depression work better than the meds. I would suggest that you try everything that's good for depression and that's healthy for you anyway. Exercise, meditation, improving your diet are all probably quite doable for you. For diet/supplements information I would suggest Mark Hyman and Andrew Weil on the internet as sources. I would suggest trying "SNAP CLUB"

http://forums.psychcentral.com/depre...n-escaped.html

These things have a very good chance of working. Once you start to feel better, it's good to socialize and be with healthy friends and family.

My other suggestion is that even if depression is a taboo subject, it could be a good idea to get a medical exam if you have access to a Medical Doctor. Sometimes purely medical issues or specific vitamin deficiencies can cause depression.

Isn't the internet great?

We gave you some methods besides therapy and meds in your other thread.

Tried your snap club thing , nothing , i do not have access to medical help , last time i tried to go back into excercising ended with me giving up after 10 minute.
If it was that easy for me to just get up and do those things i wouldnt be asking for help but its just not.

Did you try mediation? Conscious breathing? Just count your breaths to 100. You CAN do that. If you lose track, try again.

You sound very panicked and upset. Do the breathing. Relax. Decide what you need to do and force yourself to do it if necessary.

Nothing is going to work in ten minutes.

You are in a very difficult position as a support network is a crucial part of it. I would suggest reading a lot and posting on this forum or similar ones. Use online support groups if that is all that is available. If you can find friends in real life who understand than do so.

I would suggest teaching yourself CBT
Journaling
Taking up meditation and mindfulness
Diet, Exercise
If you can't get meds look into supplements like fish oil, vitamin D, Melatonin, 5HTP, St. Johns Wort, L Methylfolate, B vitamins, L Tryptophan

I know how hard it is if you can't get out of bed. Start with what you can do.

There are people on this forum that find a therapist online. They work over phone, chat, email and skype.

Here's a pretty good article about it.
