Why do some people get so much "attention", while others are just ignored or abused?

Take care,
Fuzzy

Are you talking about here on the board, Hun? Why?

Maybe it seems that way to you because you have so much love to give! Quite possibly more than most of us... ya think? Why?

Well, I suppose, for me, having had almost zero positive, nurturing attention in my childhood might have something to do with it. I have noticed some of that here on the board too, particularly of late Why? It seems to be a gripe that most people have at some time here though Why? although some shout it out more than others Why? But it's just personalities, as well as disorders, the quiet ones do get left out ... and sometimes get "forgotten" although this board is mainly good in that respect I think (as we are nearly all human/bear...)

I am having a crap week basically Why? although it is in danger of turning into something worse Why?

Thanks for your reply!

Take care,
Fuzzy

Well, we all know that bears required lots of attention. Sorry if I haven't been able to show you lately.

Those of us with pain, mood, or other type of swings in our lives have trouble moderating giving and receiving attention both. I know often when I am crashing from pain and/or depression, I stay away for a while (short) and usually show up once I've crashed.. and then Post my complaints with life.

Then, when I happen to have computer time and brain time together, I also come in then, to try and encourage others.

And I'm not generally shy, so I can imagine those who are normally quiet and shy, well, it's only crisis time that we hear from them.

I posted this on your other post too... do you know your bears, bear?

Hey Fuzzy, i am sorry if you feel left out. I feel that often. It has been hard for me to reach out a lot, that is a long story. My thoughts are with everyone here. Please know that. It's just hard for me to reach out sometimes.

I know how that feels, wisewoman...I see alot of people reaching out to lend support to others, and sometimes it feels like I don't do enough for everyone. I am quite new to having people listen and understand, as well as reaching out to others to offer what little support I can. I feel kind of 'unqualified' I guess...some people on here just seem to know exactly what to say, and I'm afraid I will mess up Anyway...I'm rambling :P Sorry.

I understand and feel the same way, Fuzzy. I am also on the edge and afraid of falling.

I hope both of us don't go over. {{{{{{{{Fuzzy}}}}}}}}}}}

Thanks everyone for your replies, I appreciate them.

I also find it interesting to see who hasn't replied to this Why? but I am more than happy for this thread to end here, so please don't feel pressured to reply anyone!

I am feeling quite a bit better today, thanks again for your replies. I wish everyone who has ever replied to any of my posts the best day they can possibly have!

I did say that I have been feeling black and prickly, so if this reply comes out a little prickly, that is why. Perhaps tomorrow I will be more warm and fuzzy again ... Why?

Take care,
Fuzzy

I didn't get to this board for a couple of days - had too much I was trying to deal with. Sometimes it just comes down to timing. If we are all hiding in a hole at the same time, some people might not get the attention they need.

Maybe some people are hiding because they don't get the attention they need and the longer it goes on, the further down they go.

Just my 2 cents from down here..........
