What do you do with anger, towards self or abusive others, (including abusive doctors )

With love and respect,

I write my anger out. Journaling seems to help me.

Yep. Journaling is my go to as well. I have an irrational need to overthink everything. Writing things down gives order to my thoughts and helps me keep from getting over emotional. I will either write in my notebook at night or jot down notes on how I feel in my phone.

Meds suppress some of the anger.
My depressive apathy smothers a lot of the anger.
Almost all the anger gets directed against myself, but I usually don't feel it. Sometimes it "explodes" in brief episodes.

I have not found a healthy way to express my anger. Whatever I am angry at I tend to turn it on myself. Not a good way to be.

I hope you can find a way to become less angry in the future...I definitely don't blame you for having that anger though.

- Driving Range (golf balls)
- Batting Cages (softballs or baseballs)
- Blow Up Punching Clowns

All of these helped me to get a lot of my anger out in a safe way that caused no harm to me or the people I was angry at ... I'd imagine the clowns and balls to be the faces of those that had caused me harm, and I'd loudly proclaim EFF YOU! as I knocked the ever-living snot out of them!

dearest fuzzy, verbalizing my feelings, even when no one is there, helps me.

Bad ways:

Smoking
Stuffing it and having it come out as depression

Better ways:

Art, painting
Journaling

Right now I am very angry because I just lost my furboy and it's a challenge to handle my anger. I'm either crying or furious or both.
