Just gets better n better

now i went and had a screaming fight with one of the customers... just when i thought i was doing better... oh yay... the days only half over...

My day's been completely cruddy as well. Maybe we can growl together under the umbrellas!

When things like that happen, and you can realize it during or right after, go ahead and say, I'm sorry, I really haven't been feeling well for months! Often offering an apology and an excuse will make it some better. TC!

Despite the adage, the customer is not always right, that's just a saying to keep the customer as a customer. But I don't know that I want customers who are a pain but then, if I just work for someone else, I guess I don't get to vote on that :-)

Sorry you have that stress in your life of a customer being a problem and being in the middle, technically not supposed to "straighten" them out and yet finding it hard to put up with them. When I worked one place my boss taught me to "take the money" :-) and that helped me in some situations.

thanks perna, sky... you guys being here matters,so much... the whole thing is about a discount another employee gave the guy last time.. now he expects it every time.. in the mood i've been in.. well, just not good timing... when i explained the pricing to him he decided he could bully me with name calling... really... this guy is my age... has more $ than i make in a year, and he's complaining about a $4 difference... some other customers witnessed the whole thing and came over after to shake my hand and say i handled it well... one left his number in case i need back-up... thank god for good people in this world...

shouldn't be at work right now, but there's no one to cover me... another one for the way we live... lose a family member, watch a whole branch of your family fall from the sky, hey, well, leave your problems at the door.. these gratification seeking self holy consumers need to be treated like royalty.. there"s $ involved... go to hell is what i say... sorry for my rant...

most chances you ARE doing better...and this case doesn`t mean all the self wrok and such that has been done is nothing..or that you are that bad...%#@&#! happenes..we learn gradually to deal with it and handle it. i understand hw you are feeling about it. i have similar situations most of the time....

just taking it moment by moment... still keep slipping back to see her beautiful clear blue eyes, her innocent laughter... the way she was... what can i do? imagining her future life now... will she walk the roads i've been on because of this... will her roads be even darker, more painful?

her choices (not really her choices) are foster care, group home, living with a relative, adoption...

only one in the family qualifies to adopt i think.. my younger 1/2 sis who just had her own baby.. happily married, decent income, home owner, non-drinker/smoker.. but i don't know if she'll volunteer... i am too busy taking care of my alcoholic handicapped mom... God will provide... just the same as for myself, for everyone... i just want it to be easier on her than my imaginations are telling me... only 8... a long time to go before her life is her own and what will it be? i pray she is spared a group home life... that is the worst of all choices as i imagine it... but my fears are running wild... i pray with all i have...

i understand hwo much you want the best for her. yes prayre helps a lot if you BELIEVE in it and not just ask for it from what i know.

begging is understandable but also less efficient than thanking God for what WILL happen.SORRY for giving "lectures" all the time. if you feel it doesn`t talk to you ignore it.

i think that if she is at the same counry city as you are etc...you can visit her and help her mentally and this will be relaly good for her.

all the time. about what we want..about what we believe in...
i just can`t relate to anyhting more that this..

self expresison is what makes life with living..there are lots of falks out there living in denial. so sad.
