For a while now I think i've been suffering from Depression, but I distracted my mind from that thought by spending hours and hours a day on the internet. But now, its affecting my school work. I dont start to do my homework until 3 in the morning because I cant take my eyes away from the screen. Not to mention its hurting my friends and my family...I feel like im letting them down because I can't properly vent my emotions.
My mom knows about my self infliction(Cutting) that I did before and she swore she would help me...but she hasn't done a thing.
My friends dont seem to get it either
I dont know what to do anymore
Im drowning in my feelings and slowly loosing my grip with reality
Please help me
Im loosing myself

Yes, you are welcome here.

Can you ask your mother to find your some specific help now? A therapist or someone to help sort you out. Can you work on adjusting your schedule at all? Eating well, sleeping enough, and a regular schedule can help and not having them be can hurt in ways we can't see.

I'm so sorry you're not feeling well and I'm sending you lots of gentle hugs, Mel.

Are you sure you can't ask your mother for help? Sometimes Moms surprise you with how much they understand! If you don't feel you can do that, please continue to come here for help from your friends! Most of them will be waking up soon and I know you'll have many more posts from people who really and truly CARE about YOU, Mel.

Hang in there, Sweetie ... you're not alone!
