Depression Vent Room for Misfits

I been feeling depressed a lot. Other than emotional abuse from my sister and niece. I have nothing to be depressed about.

I'm very upset this morning. Things aren't working out for me. Nothing is going right. I'm being blocked at every turn. The Universe is conspiring against me. I've had enough. I don't want to play this stupid game anymore.

Edit: My little cat just came to see me. She crawled up and into my arms. She helps to make the world a better place.

I try really hard to focus and not let the depression in, but it sometimes takes over and make occasional careless mistake. Doesn’t help that I’m often a perfectionist. Often get irritated with mom nagging sometimes, then feel very guilty, and even upset.

Hello room. I arrive with venting on my somewhat confused mind. Where shall I begin? At the end I think. Last of all, I have work to do, within & without my being.
Furthermore, a long road is ahead. A bit of irony, no doubt, will be included. Interesting, isn't it, how that works? Oh well. Who am I, by the way? One of many silly questions. I'm leaving now. But not entirely. My essence (whatever that is) lingers.

Sometimes my mind gets confused too. The confusion comes from the fact that sometimes the people we love can be both loving and hurtful. There have been times that have caused cognitive dissonance for me where I go back and forth in my mind weighing the good and the bad. By focusing on my faith and asking for God's help, I have calmed the cognitive dissonance done. I am unable to judge well but God is able to so I am leaving it to him to sort out....

I have a positive note today. I smashed through all the roadblocks that were getting in my way. I feel much better today. I'm very hopeful.

I feel as though I've been somewhere, even though I haven't been anywhere in actuality, only in my imagination because of listening to music & to words spoken here.

Today, it's a challenge to set up some new appliances I purchased. My back is bothering me, so that is making it difficult. I'll keep working at it step by step. My cat jumped in the dishwasher cause I left it open to take a break. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry.

I'm having a difficult evening. I feel tired and sad. I wish I had something to help improve my mood. Every day around 4 pm I get really moody. I think it is the time of year and the sun going down. I don't know why I'm so tired. I took two naps today. I wish I could eat some cheesecake. I'm an emotional eater. But I know that is not the answer. Maybe I'll make a frappuccino and play some games.

I’m having a hard time keeping myself motivated enough to finish my chores. I have much to do to get ready for Christmas since we’re doing Christmas over here. I don’t want to wait until the last minute and be stressed out. I may go to bed early and start fresh tomorrow.

Tomorrow is housecleaning day. Ugh! Cleaning always wear me out...

Okay... housecleaning's done. And now I'm wiped out... just like I knew I would be.

I have two difficult tasks to handle today. I know once I complete them I'll feel better. Right now it feels overwhelming. It's sort of bringing me down. One I might be able to tackle right away. That might motivate me to finish the other.

Hi Saunder: Were you referring to this group (Misfits) in particular? This is not a formal "social group" that requires members to join the way some social groups do. (Perhaps it could be?) It's simply a thread in the Depression forum which was graciously started by Breaking Dawn. So there would be no "join group" icon for this thread. Anyone who feels like it can post here.
