Dear Fuzzybear, I have not read The Shadow of the Object: Psychoanalysis of the Unthought Known by Christopher Bollas. (Is that the correct Shadow of the Object?) It sounds exceptionally interesting, especially as it involves early childhood social development and attachment, but I fear it is far beyond me. Among the first things I encountered in looking up the book is "object relations theory" and the world of Psychoanalysis.
Transitional Objects... Hmmm... ?????...

It would be nice to have cubs...
Or a ..... (deleted) Or to have siblings...  Whatever. I'm very lucky to have Papa bear I think it's way above my head too little turtle and Rohag, I'm going to have another look soon though. Hugs and respect to all on the BUS

I think I might read momma and the meaning to life again.... I didn't give it a fair try.
