I did a lot of work around the house and ran errands for mom and brother. The house is getting back into shape after all of these crises. Tomorrow

1. Decorate pumpkins
2. Take brother to doctor
3. Work with my sister on the house.

I hope everybody has a good week ahead!

Looking forward to today, not for any reason in particular, just because it looks nice out, I only have one thing scheduled (that I'm looking forward to), and I have hit a real milestone with my portfolio.

1. Look at calendar for upcoming week and make sure my regularly scheduled meetings are properly updated.
2. Use my to do list.
3. Outdoor exercise
4. Portfolio
5. Take care of stuff on porch.

I'm still thinking about how to get better at taking care of those things that drive me crazy and don't even take too long to fix. What a weird phenomenon, to walk by a small pile of junk, get angry with yourself for not taking care of it, but continuing not to do it - until you've spend 10x as much time being mad at yourself for neglecting the matter vs. how long it would take to actually resolve it.

Saturday did yard work, walked my dog and washed some clothes. Sunday ran errands, bought groceries and walked my dog, and accomplished my goals of doing yard and grocery shopping so I’m pretty happy. This week need to do PT daily, get some kind of exercise with walking outside or walking DVD or yoga DVD inside. Have a good week everyone.

I haven't been on my drive yet. Things keep coming up. This morning is no good. Maybe I can this afternoon. I hope all of you are well.

I am stuck! I feel trapped in a self-defeating style. I am not motivated to do anything. It is like it is painful to stretch out an arm or a leg, I am just sitting here. My head is full of negative thoughts about myself

I ask myself if there is nothing I can do? What happened? I was in the town's center yesterday to visit a church. After that I walked to find the new bus-stop I was supposed to use this morning when connecting with friends for hiking. I became tired and became afraid that I didn't have the physical strength to go hiking with them. I decided to go on a hike alone in another district and train myself to go a distance as long as I knew they would go. Then I found myself depressed. I didn't make dinner, but ate many slices of bread with strawberry jam and my level of bloodsucker became dangerously high.

Today I am just sitting here ... I will try this way out: I will read about my old triggers in my old notebook and I will fill in TIREDNESS as a trigger. (May be it is tiredness and some other things I cannot point on). If tiredness is a trigger to me, I need to be able to accept that, slow down and find an alternative way.

My home has been very much cluttered the last days and I cannot let this continue. I will follow an advice from "The decider", set and amount of time to work that is possible for me to do, like 5 minutes or so. I think I will work/rest/work/rest in five minutes intervals for may be 30 minutes.

Thank you all for beieng here!

I hope you all are well!

It was a start-help for me to "announce" my state of being in the forum. I have had some minutes with therapy for myself (me to me therapy) and am now ready to try to go on in a slow tact.

Be well all!

I had a productive day yesterday. A family friend and my sister came over and we all tackled the house. The lawn care guy came over and the lawn looks nice as well. I had planned a mini getaway this morning but am filled with fear and trepidation for some reason. Odd. I don’t want to go anywhere. I’ll need to pick up my brother’s pain medicine at some point.

Today:
1. Therapy
2. Continue with house
3. Enjoy a walk in the park

I hope everyone has a peaceful day.

Maybe there is something in the air today? I decided to stay home instead of going on the trip I initially planned. I am struggling to stay focused on anything this morning. Maybe posting here will work for me as well. Revised goals:

1. Cook

2. Write up notes on today's reading.
3. Vigorous exercise of some form.

Thank you so much, Jennifer! I feel I am in the process, but have to be very careful to not let depressive thoughts govern my thought processes in the wrong way.

My plans for tomorrow:

- Some rest after breakfast (my blood sugar needs it).
- Physical and relaxation exercises.
- Some food.
- Go for a walk (max 20 minutes).
- Half an hour self study ("me to me therapy")
- Fill dishwasher and put it to work.
- Get rid of trash.
- Visit grocery store.
- Let the self-going vacuum-machine do the work in the living room.
- If not tired, I will try to wash the floor in the living room that need it so much.
- At least one hour of ordinary work.

I wish everybody on the thread a stress-free and good Wednesday!

Yesterday turned out okay though I never really did vigorous exercise, just settled for ten minutes of hand weights. Walking up hill seems to have a very positive effect on my blood sugar but it's a tough thing to force.

Today is going to be busy. Two meetings and two errands, one of which involves a long drive. Everything is compressed into the afternoon so I have a four hour block this morning for other things.

1. Decide if I need to travel at all and if so, when.
2. Do the research to answer the above.

3. Reading assignment.

I overslept this morning. I decided to drop the 20 minutes walk outside. I did both physical and relaxation exercises. I have put both the washing machine and the dishwasher to work. After my hovering machine had done it's job I washed the floor, so now it is clean. I feel proud.

I did not have the time I needed to do my ordinary work. So I skipped that.

I used a good portion of time on my self-help books and my private notes. I know that one good day does not mean that the crisis is over. I will watch myself carefully the next weeks.

My plans for tomorrow:

- Some rest after breakfast.
- Up at nine for a shower.
- Gym.
- Food.
- Work with self-help books and private notes.
- Self hypnoses.
- Grocery shop.
- Put washing machine to work again.

I wish all of you a tension free day with good work motivation for tomorrow!

Today I need to go by my doctor’s office, drive mom around on some errands and we’re getting our booster shots. I also hope to talk to my daughter, enjoy a walk in the park and decorate pumpkins. If I have the time and energy left…I’ll continue on the house.

I hope everyone has a peaceful day!

Starting to feel stressed trying to cram it all in. Today already feels like a disaster with no free time and a million things I have to do that I can't do. That's not really true, though. I have 3-4 hours before my first appointment and 1-2 hours after. The afternoon and early evening will be entirely eaten up, just like yesterday.

1. Walk
2. Noon meeting.
3. Write everything down on my task list
4. Try CBT technique to relieve stress feelings

Yesterday was go-go-go with some geography errors on my part that complicated things. Everything turned out okay. I only have one commitment and one deadline today but still a lot to do.
1. Write up notes from yesterday.
2. Take care of veggies
3. Find a hill to climb

I have a massive case of caregiver burn out that I’m trying to recover from. My tasks will be relaxation, fun and rest oriented for awhile. Today:

1. Have a meal at O’Charleys
2. Walk in the park
3. Continue reading a good novel
4. Try out my latch hook kit
5. Continue decorating pumpkins

I hope everyone has a peaceful weekend!

I am glad to hear that you are able to take care of yourself! That can be a really hard "job" to do when exhausted. A really good, relaxed and peaceful weekend to you!

As I told last week part of my feeling down had something to do with spirituality.

Today I decided to take the day off. I have prayed and seen religious TV. I don't know how to say this: I feel tired but spiritually refreshed. Tomorrow I will pick up the threads left out this day because I used it otherwise than planned.

I wish all of you a good and peaceful weekend!

I got a shower today and I took out my trash. That was all. I spent most of the day in bed. Tomorrow, I hope to be more active. Happy weekend to all!

Today shopped and picked up a few items in bulk and have been really needing and wanting to buy more t-shirts, vitamins, a few early Christmas gifts. Did that today and was able to get out the door before 11 am, and wanted to leave before 10 a.m. Walked my dog early in the evening so happy to get a few things accomplished today.

Have a good weekend everyone.

I wound up taking most of yesterday off. I read a novel and climbed a hill but did not write up my notes or take care of all the veggies. Today I am probably going on a road trip even though I have tasks I need to take care of at home. Oh well!
