This has not been one of my best days. I had to rest for an hour after the jogging. When I went out of bed again, I became sidetracked by something I found on the Internet. I became filled with "depressive thoughts". It took a while before I understood that I had let myself become sidetracked by some unimportant "things". I forgot to call the dentist, and forgot my bottles at home, but I have done the most important (jogging, empty dishwasher, visited the grocery store and doing my work at my office. My work helped me to consentrate and to have my focus right.). I will do no physical training tomorrow.

My plans for tomorrow :

- Shower immediately after breakfast.
- Fill dishwasher and wash what cannot go into the dishwasher.
- Call the dentist.
- Home office

May you all feel that what you are able to do is OK (either little or much)!

I unloaded the dishwasher, did some cooking and reloaded the dishwasher. Now I am relaxing. I have a med appointment in a couple of hours. I hope everyone is doing well!

I took mom to a doctor’s appointment in another town and knocked a bunch of errands off my to do list. I am tired now and have a headache but will still cook dinner and pick up. Tomorrow:

1. Follow brother to the mechanic
2. Take brother to pain management appointment
3. Float at the pool
4. Take the trash out
5. Call plumber about fixing a large leak
6. Prepare for Thursday’s medical appointment

I hope everyone has a peaceful Wednesday.

I am so frustrated. I sat by the breakfast table and procrastinated about going to have a shower. I tried and tried to motivate myself, but could not find the energy to do it. I felt shame and despair. I wasn't a procrastinator originally. As a teenager, I went out of bed before my mother in the mornings because I wanted to clean my room. She always wanted to do that herself and I wanted the responsibility, so up I went and did "things". I could have mentioned the one situation after the other that showed that I was more than willing to do things.

I remembered the book about how to fight procrastination. I read some of the underlinings and the Psychologist Hayden Finch (2021) explained that it has nothing to do with laziness, but with how the brain has become used to functioning and that there will be setbacks when one starts fighting it (her book is about how to unwind these brain "complications"). She tells that there has been very little scientific research on procrastination earlier. It is first in the last ten years that science has taken it seriously.

Oh yes, there happened "things" in my life when I was middle aged, that was terrible and unbearable. This morning I felt comforted and accepted by this psychologist words, not lazy, and went to rest for one hour.

May be this is not interesting to read about for other people, but it gives me some kind of relief to write it down now when I remember it, and of course I hope that if there should be somebody else with the same problems reading this , they can start feeling less lazy.

For now I am having a cup of coffee and I have rearranged my plans. I will fill dishwasher first and then take my shower.

A good day to everyone! : throb:

I did very little work yesterday. I went to the beach and read my novel. I also started crossing off random things from the to-do list.

1. More random items.
2. Grocery store before lunch so there is lunch.
3. Homework - limit it to two hours MAX.

My med call went well. I'm going back on Zoloft. Cymbalta was causing too many side effects. Today I will cook vegan chili and clean litter boxes. I hope everyone has a good day!

After I had rearranged the order of my to do list, everything went well. I have been busy all day long until the evening news. My appointment with the dentist isn't before Monday. I don't have pain, so it is OK to wait.

I will study the "anti-procrastination techniques" for 45 minutes. After that I will slow down before I go to bed.

My plans for tomorrow:

- Free choice at the start of the day.
- Gym.
- Free choice after the visit to the Gym.
- Fill dishwasher.
- Dusting.
- Visit grocery store.

May you all feel that what you are able to do is OK (either little or much)!

Feeling disgusted with myself. My homework was to provide peer feedback on other people's writing assignments. I did not want to spend more than two hours on it but spent close to six. This is a very poor use of my time. I struggle because I want to give helpful criticism but also spend a lot of time refining so it sounds nice. I wish I had not spent so much time on this today. I had considered leaving for my workshop early but tomorrow is going to be busy since I didn't get much else done.

The good news is that I submitted all my feedback today instead of dragging it out even more.

I cooked 6 meals in 2 days. I put some of it in the freezer for next week. I have no chores to do today except clean the kitchen. But that's pretty easy. I've been cleaning as I go. So today I will relax and play games. I hope everyone has a good day today!

Trying not to get stressed about everything I have to get done today. I just looked at my to-do list and decided only two things *have* to get done before I leave. Well, three. Or four.

1. Pack and load the car.
2. Make sure my husband has something to eat while I am gone.
3. Freeze anything that will go bad while I'm gone.
4. Laundry

I overslept, so my free choice item was good to have before I went to the Gym. After the Gym I needed to rest as well, but I can do more at the Gym now than before and I feel more awake when I am doing work in the house or am at my office. I think I have managed to find the right balance between activity and rest that is fit for me. My aim is to try to continue to not overdo, but stay in what seems to be the right "doze" between activity and rest.

My plans for tomorrow:

- Jogging.
- Rest for max one hour.
- Put the dishwasher to do it's job.
- Clean the bathroom.
- Office

For now I am going to make some healthy pancakes for my last meal today. After that I will relax with some "nice crime" at Netflix before I put my head on the pillow.

May you all feel that what you are able to do is OK (either little or much)!

Looking forward to my class! The car is all packed. I wish the house was less trashed but can't fix that now.

1. Shower
2. Pack coffee
3. Hit the road.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I know it is early, but I have already decided what I will do for tomorrow. I woke up sick this morning, so I have not been able to do much. Luckily I have been able to visit the grocery shop and have bought what I need for the weekend. I also bought a light lunch. Don't feel well enough to make dinner today. I will put the dishwasher to work, while I take more care of myself, relaxing.

Plans for tomorrow.

- A slow walk ouside
- Clean the bathroom.

I wish all of you a good weekend!

Well they dug up a large portion of the front yard but they got that terrible leak fixed. At one point it was leaking 7.9 gallons a minute and the water bill was $352. We jumped on it immediately but the plumber kept dragging his feet. We’ve been customers for 50 years so we’ve built a special relationship. Just glad it’s fixed now. Tomorrow:

1. Float at pool
2. Spa pedicure
3. Clean den
4. Run errands
5. Clean dining room

I hope everyone has a peaceful weekend.

I didn't have a very good start to my day. The only thing I accomplished was opening an Amazon box. Tomorrow I will order groceries and clean litter boxes. Hope everyone is well.

Ohhh, that was a lot! It is always irritating when one has high unexpected bills, but it's good it is over now.

I ordered groceries and cleaned 2 litter boxes. I also opened packages and put stuff away. I've played my game a lot so that I feel good. This morning was a bit rough on me. But I'm better now. Tomorrow, I will:

1. Take out the trash.
2. Change the tray in the big litter box.
3. Cook some meals.

I hope I can do all that. I feel super stressed. I wish everyone well tomorrow.

My brother fell twice yesterday. I was able to help him the first time but the second time he broke his left hip and ankle and fractured his femur. He’ll have surgery today. My plans are somewhat wobbly right now because of that but I think I’ll do things around the house so I can stay close to the phone.

1. Clean house
2. Go through paperwork
3. Cook dinner
4. Check on brother

I hope everyone has a relaxed day.

A new week has started with new challenges and new opportunities.

I have had a good weekend, but am tired.

I will make no special plans for tomorrow other than to do as much as possible in one of my bedrooms and then visit a grocery store. I have an appointment with a dentist. Hope he can fix the broken tooth and that it does not cost too much.

May you all feel that what you are able to do is OK (either little or much)!

I have done work in the bedroom and I have been to the dentist, but I have been tired all day. Generally I have felt better and better after the second vaccine with the opportunity to go out again to meet other people. In my age (I have become old) with different physical illnesses, that is perhaps so life is. It varies how much energy one has to ones disposition. Still I am optimistic. I believe in my capacity to handle "things", ups and downs, and I bleieve in God's grace. I am not afraid to die when that time comes ... My focus is on making the best out of it, use the energy that is available on doing necessary house work, work at my office some hours a week, and to experience good "things" with others.

Plans for tomorrow:

- A slow walk.
- De-clutter as much as I can in my storage room.
- Office.

May you all feel that what you are able to do is OK (either little or much)!

I have been sitting with mom as my brother has had surgery for his injuries. It’s taken all day. I prepared lunch for her and fielded calls. I did the important thing but I’m so very far behind now. I will go visit my brother in the hospital today and hit my to do list hard tomorrow.

Wishing everyone a peaceful day.

I took my trash out and ordered food. I decided I wouldn't cook. And I didn't change out the tray in the litter box. I'm too stressed. The trash was enough. I tried to put the new plates on my car. I couldn't figure it out. I'll have to go by the dealership in the morning. Hope all of you are well.

Workshop was great. Very physical so I'm feeling quite sore today and not looking forward to cleaning the trashed house which looks even worse than when I left. A little annoyed about that. Also overwhelmed with a ton of stuff. I think I have two meetings today? I already feel like cancelling one.

1. Determine whether tentative plans for next week are feasible or desirable.

2. Clean.
3. Review notes before meeting.
